Great product! This is a great product a 15amp receptacle with USB ports. No more charging adapters, just plug the cable into the phone and the receptacle and the charging starts. Works great with my iPhone and saves counter space. I also use the usb plug to power a security camera. The only downside and it is not really a downside, it that if your electrical box is filled with three cables coming in you may find the box a bit cramped to stuff this combination receptacle inside.

I've misplaced my phone charging block so many times... I wish I would've purchased these sooner. Easy to install but I was surprised how "thick" it is; it makes sense why and it's not a knock on the product but I needed to cut some extra wires to make sure it could fit in the receptacle.

Some things to recognize when purchasing these. The grey color is very grey, and nearly charcoal grey. Unfortunately, they did not match the light grey ones I bought and installed 10 years ago. I'm not sure why that color is no longer offered. The brown colored one I bought was very nicely 'brown' in color, though. Also, bear in mind this product is rather beefy, so it may fit very snuggly into your existing box. I have one outlet I wanted to install this in that gets operated by a wall switch, but felt I should leave that up to an electrician to figure out. There are some really nice screwed connections on this, unlike the kind where you have to make a loop and wrap around a screw and tighten down. There are no speed connectors (which I'm told you shouldn't use anyway, but I generally do). I did not 'test' the power outlet like some other reviews had. I figure it's charging my devices quite nicely, so they must be working well, I guess. The design with these are somewhat of a problem. Look, just like you can't haul a boat with a Volkswagen Beetle, you can't have everything with this type of outlet. i.e. if you have a lamp timer or some device like Alexa that requires a larger power adaptor on the wall, it will essentially block access to the USB ports. I don't know how to bypass this design. Just recognize that if you intend to plug in something larger than a standard sized plug, it will impede access to the USB charging ports. I somewhat wished I knew that in advance...just so that I wasn't surprised after installation. No biggie, for me. I think it was rather expensive, compared to the price of standard receptacles. Is it worth four times the price just to have USB charging access points? Maybe. Maybe not, but it's very convenient these days.

When I began searching for an integrated duplex / USB solution I was surprised how many offshore / no name / questionable by way of lack of standardized testing or QA standards products were available. Honestly it is not worth it to me to try and buy the cheapest wiring device I can find only to find out that the poorly regulated USB power source damaged other electronics or substandard parts & construction burnt down part of my house. All that said, Leviton is a name I know and trust and decided to purchase. Installation is straightforward & downright simple if you have any electrical experience at all, but contacting an electrician would be the best bet if you are not comfortable handling electrical projects. Be aware that this device is bulky (about the size of a GFI) so it will eat up some cubic inches in your wall box. I was really pleased with the price for the Leviton name brand when purchased in a 3-pack and have had these installed a few months now without issue. It is so nice to not have my outlets tied up with power cubes and having to switch / move cords around. I'm happy with this purchase and would buy again if needed.

So much easier to just plug in the USB charger chord for my devices then having to use the power brick and outlet piece. And with 2 ports I can charge my phone and my camera simultaneously. My electrician said it was a good idea and had no trouble installing it.

I decided to replace some off brand usb outlets as they were making a low DB high pitch hum. That’s not to say they weren’t safe…as all USB outlets have a small Transformer in them to convert power to the low watt usb power, and all power converters make a lil noise, but once Yh notice it, it’s hard to ignore…especially since was right next to my chair. I am an electrician and have always trusted this brand. These are very expensive but are better built, and any noise is to low to hear if any at all.

I needed a usb outlet that blended better with my backsplash. They look great and works really well. .

Take note that the 5v 60w rating is combined wattage for both USB connectors. If you use both USB outlets simultaneously it will be 30W per USB. Same goes for the 30W model. You will get max. 15w per USB if both are used at the same time. In this case, a laptop may not recognize 15w as sufficient power to initiate the charging cycle. Usually it’s minimum 20w I find.

La calidad del contacto se aprecia bastante buena. Me gustaría que los hicieran mas esbeltos, se dificulta la instalación cuando se tienen varios cables en la caja donde se instala

Ensure that the USB current rating for using both USB outlets concurrently is adequate for the items you wish to plug into them.
