These latches are exactly what we needed for our chicken run duch door. Don't want any other animals I.E raccoons finding their way into the run. So lockable latches were the way to go. We use carabiner to keep it locked up and it works perfectly.

Good product wish the screws were thicker but the bolt latch was sturdy and can slide left or right which is convenient for locking.

Average lock. The flip style handle attached to the bolt that accomplishes the lock function broke free on one of the two I bough. The weld is sufficent but any extra force applied resulted in it breaking free of the weld. Somewhat cheap but I JB welded it and it still works. Paint is decent not high quality.

It is almost a very good product. The tiny screws are inadequate for securing the door of a tool shed. The whole thing could be pried off the door. But if they offered this security bolt with square holes that were compatible with an M6 or 1/4-inch round-head carriage bolt, it would be so much more secure. You could put hex nuts on the inside of the door and no one could pry it off.

Works good but the black paint did wear off where it rubs.

I actually put this on a bedroom door with a combination lock. Working great as a deterrent.

Very easy to install and a sturdy latch. Works well. Only change I would make is have most possible mounting screws hidden behind the bolt so that the latch could not be removed from the outside.

Well enough designed economy gate latch but...the black paint rubs off the bolt immediately where it slides through the latch. I presume because this is stainless steel it won't rust so that's not a deal breaker. Speedy delivery. :-)
