Apna Long Grain Basmati Rice 10KG

The worse rice I have ever purchased. Not fit for purpose, a waste of money. The quality of this product is really bad. I ended up chucking it all away. The description of it is misleading too.

Can be cooked in 5 min in a rice cooker. I don't like sticky rice so it was the best rice I could get in this price with good taste and texture. Best for everyday cooking

Terrible quality, long cook time, no value for money.

I'm sorry to say that this rice does not cook very well. If you like your Basmati fluffy with the grains seperate, avoid. I have tried various different cooking methods and have washed it in 5 or more changes of water but every time it comes out starchy and sticks to the pan every time. Grain is very short. Unless you specifically want sticky rice, I wouldn't recommend it.

I made a mistake when ordering this, thought it was 100% basmati, no, only 25% is, the rest is long grain, it doesn't work well as the 2 rices need different cooking times, so if you want the texture of basmati , you end up with hard rice, uneven.... if you want rice soft, then you end up with half cooked properly and the rest splodge...... I've been using basmati rice and easy cook rice for years, this Anna fusion is the worst rice for me...Don't be fooled by the heading, as I was in a rush and ordered it, its 75% long grain rice.... not long grain basmati, which you can get on the market...

I do not recommend this rice at all. It goes very mushy when cooked. Worst rice I’ve ever bought. Cheap quality.

We haven't opened the nag yet though hard to say anything more than value for money and arrived as expected!

It’s is of very low quality I would not buy it again it was rotten at the bottom about 3 kg was rotten I cold not even see what was at the bottom I can’t believe I was cooking something like that wot even feed it to an animal
