GE Color-Changing LED Night Light, Plug Into Wall, Dusk to Dawn Sensor, Ambient Lighting, for Bedroom, Childrens Room, Nursery, Safety Rated, 1 Pack, 34693

I've had this plugged in for just about a week now, wanted to watch it do it's thing a few days before giving my opinion. When plugged in for the first time it went straight to rotating color mode, which worked for me because I was going to try that setting out first anyway. This is for my hallway so I can see any movement with some back lighting. I like the rotating setting because (in my head anyway) it looks like you are just keeping a soft light and if laying awake can be relaxed by the slow but steady flow of the colors. The only color I don't love for the hallway lights intended purpose is the red, it is a bit too dark, but all the other colors are perfect. I replaced an old one that was crazy bright and had to go in the hallway or it felt like you had a light on in the bedroom. It started going bad after 5 years (not bad) and I thought this would be a good replacement. And so far I really like it. My hallway is really dark, and dark flooring doesn't help, causing the sensor to always think it's dark unless the hallway light is on, so it runs most of the day and night. After a week of being pretty much continuously running it is not even slightly warm to the touch, a very good thing. The lights are bright enough for my needs/wants (except the red) but soft enough that it would work great in a kids room and not be so bright it kept them up or woke them up if they rolled over and the light caught their eye. Would also make for some nice ambiance in an adults room, or living room, but I'd probably only plug it in when I wanted that (for rotating colors), not leave it on all the time, but that's just me. I am really happy with this light overall and would purchase again or recommend to friends and family.

Was looking for a night light that was not too bright for the hallway by kids bedrooms as well as the main bathroom to help guide kids at nighttime without being too bright or alarming. This was perfect!! Very cheaply priced I thought for sure it would have been junk, but thankfully I was wrong!!! Very dim, and many colour options to choose from.

Me gusto mucho pero entiendo las otras opiniones cuando dicen que está muy brillante. Lo brillante no es en sí la luz que da en un cuarto o pasillo, es más bien al ver directamente el cuadro. Definitivamente si la vas a tener a lado de la cama, te va a molestar al dormir. Como luz indirecta la verdad es muy bueno, simplemente para dormir hay que ponerlo en un lugar que no puedas verlo directamente. Algo que no me gustó, es que no tiene botón de apagado. Solamente se apaga cuando el sensor de luz detecta otra luz. Entonces, si lo tienes en un lugar que siempre esté medio oscuro, siempre va a estar prendido. Yo lo puse en el baño y pues hay una ventana chiquita, lo suficiente para que ilumine el baño sin necesidad de prender la luz durante el día, pero el sensor sigue considerando muy oscuro así que se queda prendido. Otra cosa es que dice que tiene como niveles de intensidad de brillo alto y bajo. Esto es cierto pero solo en los colores blanco y rojo. Los demás colores solo tienen una intensidad. Funciona bien, los colores se ven muy bien y da una luz adecuada, ni muy brillante ni muy tenue (al iluminar el cuarto o pasillo donde lo tengas). Viendo directamente, si es muy brillante.
