These are nice controllers!
Reslly good value for these. I've had mine for about a month, and the kids have been playing almost everyday. So far no wear and tear. The battery life is great, as we haven't had to change them yet. Getting the controllers to connect to the receiver was tricky at first, but you just have to turn on the power switches and press the select button once the lights on the receivers start flashing. They handle well, no delay. And the colors are nice and bright.

Great for some, terrible for others, YOU DECIDE!
These are pretty good for people who have a passing interest in reliving the glory days of retro, but for the avid gamer, there are a couple of aspects of these that will absolutely annoy the living daylights out of you. And by you, I mean me, I mean I was seriously annoyed. And you might be, too.First off, let's be clear, the controllers work nicely. I'm not a "controller snob", so unless they're super terrible, I'm usually pretty okay with third party devices. The buttons feel great and the controls are nice and responsive. My typical complaint about these kinds of third-party devices is that the thumbsticks don't feel right. I really like the feel of these. In all respects, I feel the controls and ergonomics are great. These feel a little light, and thus a little cheap (what do you want? They are, in fact, cheap). This is, in part due to the fact that the rumble is accomplished by a single, very small motor in only one handle. It's not HD rumble, so there's subtlety to the vibration. It's also a kind of cheap plastic, but it doesn't mean they won't outlast you. These use AAA batteries, so they're not some kind of internal rechargeable device. Not having a charging circuit means it's cheaper to make and buy. These got hours and hours of play time from the batteries, which are not included with these. It means you've got to have batteries around for these (which you're wise to take out when you're not playing), but it also means you won't have a hard time finding a replacement, so, plusses and minuses. Get some Eneloop AAA batteries if you want to "go green" so to speak. I just used cheap Harbor Freight batteries, which worked great. Now for the annoying stuff. First off, the controllers will just arbitrarily choose a receiver to pair to. And, depending on how you have your PS2 situated, you might not know you're plugged into the wrong one until you're into your game and your controller doesn't work. Example, you've got your orange receiver in slot one, and the blue one in slot 2, and you turn on your ps2, sit down and pick up your orange controller, thinking it's player 1, right? But exactly half the time, it will pair up to the other receiver. And if your system is located, say, behind your TV, or anywhere you can't see the lights on the ends of the receivers. The solution is simple, you just keep turning off the controllers over and over until they pair up to the right ones, or you sacrifice playing with your favorite color and trade controllers with your wife. This is not a total deal breaker, but I'd be lying if I said it didn't get me really peeved more than once. At worst, you'll wear out your power switches (cheap, maybe frail things, really) quickly, from trying to pair up to the right receiver. At best, you'll get that itchy scratchy reminder every time you have to reach for the other controller once GTA is booted up.The final annoying factor, and this one's a doozy.Your controllers time out in a few minutes of inactivity. Oh, but it doesn't stop there. If you're unfortunate enough to have set your controller down for a break while you slug down a few slices of pizza, you'll not only have to "turn it off and back on again" when you get back, but you'll have to turn it off for an undefined amount of time. Maybe a couple of minutes, maybe long enough to eat the rest of the pizza. Then you go turn it back on, and maybe it comes on, or maybe you call it a night and come back tomorrow. This one was a deal-breaker for me, as I'm not just a casual gamer. So, in summary, if you like to play your game for a little while, turn off your system and put it away for another week or month or year, these are going to totally knock it out of the park for you. They're great when you're actually playing. But if you're more than a passing gamer, or if you're a faithful retro enthusiast, you'll be annoyed to pieces by these things, just because of the pairing mismatches and the timeout issue. That will kill these for you.So, you'll either love these, or you'll hate them.

Works well, then suddenly garbage?
Feels fine, controls fine, and the battery life is pretty good, only one problem: after about a couple of weeks of using the controller, out of freaking nowhere, it just randomly disconnected and is unable to reconnect. Not a battery issue, as I've tried multiple attempts at replacing the batteries, but the dang thing just suddenly won't work now. If you want something that works for more than a few weeks, do NOT buy this junk.

Does not work on PS1
The controllers are great but the description stated that these work on PS1. They kinda do but you are unable to use a memory card with these controllers due to wireless interference. There PS1 will not read the memory card I'd the controller is plugged in.

Not the greatest quality
They work if you need something immediate but there are much better options out there. This is a controller you could give to a younger kid so they donโt ruin yours.

VERY good controller for the price. Seems smooth and responsive.
My step daughter really seems to like it, I had gotten her and her little brother and I a few different brands over the years, and Pelican and Logitech are tops, but this one really seems to be a good quality controller with smooth and responsive action, so I bought a 2 pack for her brother and I. DEFINITELY worth the price and I would recommend this. Blue Lake has made it into MY top 3.

Questionable Consistency, Questionable Functionality, Good Price
Realistically you're not going to find good wireless PS2 controllers on the market for this price. These have all of the typical wireless controller issues, and all the hallmarks of cheap manufacturing. Any time something comes between the connectors and the controllers, the devices temporarily lose connection, nothing major, just don't sit with your knees in front of the controller. The real issue I see with these is that I had to request a replacement for my first order, as one of the controllers (green) had awful stick drift in both joysticks out of the box. The orange controller is fine. When the replacement controllers arrived the new green controller has no stick drift, but the Square button is extremely unresponsive, demanding a very intentional press to get any response at all. That being said, again, the price can't really be beat, and my player 2 is only playing very casual games, so this'll get the job done. Don't buy this if you're hosting a Tekken tournament, but if you're playing The Sims 2 with your partner, it'll get the job done.A side note, I did not test the second orange controller, so I'm not certain if the issue is consistently with the green controllers (probably not the case).
