Very good
We needed to get a new TV for our kids' game room, and the best choice for our price range and TV needs happened to have very wide-set (far apart) feet. The feet were too far apart to fit on the small TV console we had in that room, and since we were already unexpectedly springing for a new TV, we didn't want to have to go to the added expense of purchasing a new piece of furniture to put it on. We purchased this instead, and it works great. Thanks to this handy little piece of equipment, our TV sits very sturdily on a stand that is should have been too small for it. I wanted the TV to sit as low as possible, meaning as close to the actual surface of the TV stand as possible, but with the way our TV kind of curves in back plus the way this base is made, the TV actually sits several inches above the stand. However, it looks fine and is very, very sturdy. This has a nice, heavy weight to it, also, which also helps in the sturdiness department. It was easy to install, but took a bit of time because I went slowly to make sure I was installing it correctly. My teen son helped me, also, with holding things in place and such, but a person could install it solo if they wanted or needed to. Overall, this base is very handy and sturdy, and solved our problem.

Solid and easy to assemble mount for our Plasma screen.
This is a great stand. It is easy to assemble and came with plenty of hardware to accommodate a bunch of different TVs. I use this on a 43" plasma TV. I really like the 5 Degree tilt option it has as well. It makes it a lot easier to see on the table I have it on. The cord management is cool but when I have the TV mounted on the lowest setting, it is kind of pointless because I have to route the wired UP to the top of the leg and then down again. It is just easier to run the cables behind. Still, the covers do make it look nice a clean. The brackets are nice and strong and seem to be powder coated. One important thing to note is that you cannot push your TV around to slide it or nudge it in place. You will probably bend the legs. The mount was also packaged really well. I was actually surprised how well in fact. I expected the parts to be slopping around in the box, but instead they were individually wrapped and they used plenty of foam to keep them from banging around.

Inexpensive, versatile, sturday TV stand
Great concept and execution--using flatscreen TVs' semi-universal wall mount bolt holes to provide a sturdy, inexpensive table mount that's very stable. It was easy to assemble and install, and I was able to do it single-handedly despite being old and not very strong. Though I am tall, so I have leverage on my side. It comes with a whole bunch of mounting hardware so it will work with a wide variety of TVs. Ours was a 2009 Samsung 46" set. My only complaint is that while it provided for me mounting the TV higher or lower on the stand, I couldn't mount it lower because the lower edge of the TV's bezel hit the top of the stand's "feet." If the legs had been just a quarter of an inch lower I could have mounted the TV lower. I might be able to file a notch in the "feet" where the TV hit them it would fit, but I'm reluctant to weaken the feet. It's probably OK though, and I might yet do it. Note that the stand's feet protrude 6 5/8" in front of the TV, while the pedestal stand our TV originally came with only protrudes a bit over 4 3/4", in front of our set. Both the wide stance of this stand and the length of its feet make more stable than a pedestal stand, but it also means that you'll have to put the TV on whatever you're putting it on about 2" further back. Not a problem really, but it's something you should be aware of. Also, a pedestal stand lets you swivel the TV much more easily than a fixed stand like this. Again, not necessarily a problem. Just something to be aware of. Not sure I'll snap on the plastic covers that let you route cables down the stand's legs if you wish. Not relevant to my installation, but it is an option.

Sturdy and inexpensive
Bought a 55" LG tv and the legs are at the very ends of the bottom of the TV. The base I use for the tv wasn't wide enough and needed something with the legs closer together. First went to some local stores and only thing I could find was a center mount stand and it was about $60. Then I searched here and found these legs. They attach easily, had an assortment of different screws for different TV's and had the correct ones for mine. It seems to be pretty sturdy. We don't have an small kids around, so not worried about tip overs, but if you do you might want to tether the top to something. Like the cable routing that brings it out the back of one of the legs. Would buy again. Solved my problem and did it inexpensively. Since there are three stands listed on the Amazon page, wanted to make clear this review is for the one that consists of two separate legs - not the ones that have a center stand.

Plesasantly surprised!
I was honestly a bit skeptical when I ordered this. I just finished putting it together and mounting to my 48-inch tv. Everything went flawlessly. Instructions for putting the stand together were very detailed and clear. The parts are numbered so you can't go wrong! This is ingenious in it's simplicity. Cleverly hides the power and cable wires inside the stand. When assembled and mounted to the tv this thing is very sturdy. I was trying to knock it over - simulating someone bumping into it - but it would not budge! (Of course if you push hard enough it will fall over, but then anything will with enough encouragement!). I would highly recommend this tv stand without reservation.

Long-Term User Review: Universal TV Stand
After using a universal TV stand for quite some time, I can say it’s been a reliable and practical solution. The TV mount holds the screen securely and has remained stable over extended use. It’s compatible with a wide range of TV sizes, and the adjustable height options are a nice touch for getting the right viewing angle. One of the biggest advantages has been the space-saving aspect. Unlike wall mounts, it doesn’t require drilling and still keeps the TV well-positioned on a console or table, leaving room underneath for other devices. The build quality is solid—made with sturdy materials that support the weight of the TV without wobbling. The base is wide and balanced, giving it good overall stability. In terms of fit, it aligned well with the mounting holes on multiple TVs I’ve used over the years. It’s also a good value for money, especially compared to more complex mounting solutions. It’s not the lightest stand, but that adds to its durability and sense of security. Overall, it’s a dependable, cost-effective option for anyone who prefers not to mount their TV on the wall.

Quality control
Great product. The only one in its family that offers cable management. Which is why I was interested. Unfortunately, of the 4 acorn nuts, 3 are threaded incorrectly. Without the right fitting nuts the stand is wobbly, ie. useless. I have reordered. Will update review, hopefully after a better experience. Update May 13, 2018 - Repurchased another unit, in the hope of getting better parts. On this shipment, the nuts were in good shape. However one of the bars was bent. Between the 2 sets of shipments, I was able to put together a sturdy stand. So upgrading this from 1 to 3 starts. I shouldn't have had to go through this additional purchase though....

Fantastic Stand - The instructions could use a little clarity
Firstly, I am a single woman with 2 grown children. I wouldn't go so far as to call myself tech-savvy, but I have decent comprehension, and struggled just a bit with the instructions. For the most part, it was easy enough to figure out, except for the VESA pattern. I figured it out, after a couple of google hits, but I still wasn't sure I was doing it right. I ultimately just chose the parts that fit, so trial & error was the hero. I will say that they go above & beyond with the parts. Little did I know, there are several different VESA patterns with more options still once you determine yours, and I can't imagine any combination would find you without parts. That was a very impressive move on their part!
