Works good for me
Seems to be working fine. It was easy to replace my old opener. The reason I bought it was for it will automatically close the garage door after 10 minutes if I forget to shut it, and it is doing that. Also has a Hold button to override the auto door shut.

Unreliable, worked for only 2 months before failing
I bought this when my original Chamberlain/Liftmaster went bad after about 7 years of normal use; the amber indicator light on the wall control unit went out and the garage opener no longer responded to any button presses on the device, even after multiple attempts to reset the garage motor and an hour of troubleshooting. I looked everywhere online to try to figure out what exactly broke, and the consensus was that the circuit board in the wall control unit is finicky to voltage fluctuations and goes bad easily. I was disappointed that the original wall control unit only lasted 7 years before failing, but I decided to go ahead and buy this unit as a replacement. Installation was very easy, and the unit worked well out of the box, but only two months later the new wall control unit failed again. Such a simple device with such a fundamentally basic purpose should not be so fragile and fail so frequently. Very disappointed.

Garage Door opener button
Works great, easy to install. Old one stopped working and I hooked up this one in no time. Works with multiple models, mine is Lift Master. Even has a auto close feature or hold open if you want. My old one didn't have that.

Cool features that I didn't know I wanted
Got a new garage door opener, and it came with a doorbell style wall button. I initially tried wiring it up with the wall remote that was there from the previous opener, which was from 2007. Didn't work. Apparently Security+ 2.0 openers require a different switch. I had a choice between this and the 882LMW, which doesn't have motion detection or auto close. This one was only a few dollars more. The old opener was a Craftsman/Chamberlain, and the wall switch was roughly the same size. The mounting holes lined up perfectly, so all I had to do was connect the 2 wires, and screw it down. Worked immediately. The motion detection works great and turns on as soon as I enter the garage from inside. It defaults to 4.5 minutes to leave the light on after detecting motion. I was able to program the remotes using this switch, and didn't have to move the cars and get on a ladder to push the button on the opener. Brilliant. I haven't tried the auto close feature, but this can auto close the door after a few minutes if you leave it open. The only thing I dislike is the backlight is just one small LED behind a smoked grey panel, so it's not very bright. It would be cool if they made the whole button light up, like a nightlight. But I guess the overhead light turns on immediately when I enter the garage, so that's not really necessary. Overall, way better than the doorbell style button, and has convenient controls for various functions. I also ordered a replacement wall keypad for outside the door. The Chamberlain/Liftmaster ones are not very durable. Mine last about 2 years of light use before the buttons don't respond any more. Hopefully this switch lasts longer than the keypads.
