This comb absolutely does what it’s advertised to do. If only my cat could get used to being combed, I’d love it even more. Does a great job with the undercoat. Leaves our cat with “coarse-feeling” fur nice and fluffy-soft.

I don’t usually write reviews but I had to for this! We have a grumpy, old, long haired cat and a wild child who is in the midst of shedding his kitten coat. I brushed them both yesterday with our usual cat brush and it didn’t help much with the shedding. I received this one today and combed them again, the difference was insane! The comb glided through the long haired cat’s coat like butter and drug out all of the loose hairs easily. He usually hates being brushed but he layed down and let me comb him with this one. It also easily gathered all of the hair from the kitten without having that mess of short hair flying all over! If I could give this 10 starts I would!

Excellent tool for de-shedding. Not being a trained hair stylist though (or animal groomer) I had no idea this would ruin the very fine topcoat of my 1/2 Maine Coon cat. I too have very fine hair. I can only equate this to my experience of having a stylist cut my fine hair with dull scissors. It breaks the hair and causes split ends. It took almost four months for my cat’s coat to feel silky again. This tool is great for getting knots out of the downy hair under her front legs. My other cats have a sturdier hair texture and grooming them all over with this tool does not damage their hair.

This brush is wonderful and it has saved my cat from having so many hairballs. Easily to glide and remove hair despite how squirmy my cat can be. Absolutely recommend to buy for a cat or to gift to a friend in need of a good brush for their pet!

I adopted 3 cats(same litter) from the street. They have never been brushed before. 2 black ones were this and soft haired, and no build up. But a striped male had such thick build up, and I could not remove old hair with a conventional brush. I ordered this thing, and harvested away. This thing really works!

I have been a loyal user of the Furminator for years. We have multiple cats, both medium and long hair, and we have different brushes for each of them. The Furminator is by far the best shedding tool I have ever used. I recently misplaced one of our brushes so I went on Amazon looking for a replacement. I found this one, which appears to be a less expensive knock-off. The first thing I noticed about it is their are not multiple sizes for long or medium haired cats. No matter, for the price it seemed like a low risk gamble. Shortly after receiving this brush, I went to work on our long hair cat. She had a couple nasty mats that needed extra brushing. This brush did eventually work them out, but it was clearly not as smooth or effective as its more expensive competitor. There must be something with the particular cut of the teeth that make the Furminator just work better than other brushes. This one did eventually get the job done, but it was more work, and more time convince an impatient cat to sit through a brushing. All in all, this product is ok. It serves as an inexpensive backup, but I will probably stick with the Furminator as my first choice. If you only buy one product, get a Furminator when it is on sale. They last forever (or until you lose them). But if you need a spare, this one will certainly do a cheap option.

Perfect! My long haired kitty sheds like crazy, but you can't get his hair out with a normal pet brush. This made it SO easy! The shedding brush got a ton of his fur out. He was comfy and it did not hurt him at all. Once I was done, it was so easy to clean the brush and chuck it in the trash can. So happy with my purchase

This cat brush is easy to hold. Its glides through my cats thick hair easily. The hair comes out of the brush easily. Its worth the money.

This product is very much suitable for large hair dog. though i have labrador and i purchsed many hair brush but none found suitable then this. this is most comfortable and give good comb to my dog hair as well as good for hair shredding too. Comparatively a very good hair shredding brush then others.
