I absolutely love my MYZONE MZ-3. I wear this heart rate monitor every time I work out to help track my fitness and also use it to help keep me accountable to my workout schedule. Several in my friend and family group wear this monitor so we are all able to see how we are all doing through the Myzone app! Battery life lasts, do not have to charge. You can easily check battery life via your myzone app. High quality and completely accurate, I find it has better accuracy when it comes to calories than the smart machines. You can easily adjust the fit. Easily connects to your smart phone or smart watch.

I loved this when I first got it. I do still use it and I have contacted the company about issues with it. You are only supposed to have to charge it once a year and I got mine in March and I have had to charge it 3 times. It shuts off in the middle of a run and takes forever to come back on. The company told me I would have to send it in and be without it for 3 months for them to look at it. I bought a new belt to see if that was the problem but it still does the same thing. My friend has one and never has had a problem with it and has had it for almost a year and never has charged it yet. I am pretty sure I just received a bad monitor but I notice someone else that I follow hers just shuts off as well. Make your own decision I am not sure about it.

The Myzone app is incredible & I recommend it to everyone! It is the best app Iv ever used for tracking workouts! But the chest strap left a lot to be desired. The battery life was terrible, I had to charge it every night or it would be dead when I worked out. After just a little over a year the strap started having a really strong plastic or chemical smell that is awful & then it just completely stopped working. Now I’m just paying for the MyzoneGo subscription to use an Apple Watch to track my workouts.

My strap stopped working after a month and a half. I still get the tone when I remove it after a workout but it did not record a single workout last month. It seems to be made for those box gyms that run the software and not a good fit for other forms of activity. I wish I had bought a different product, most of which were cheaper than this one.

I’ve struggled for years with Fitbit and other fitness trackers to accurately measure my heart rate during exercise and this is, by far, the best one. My gym also has a MyZone board, so it’s actually pretty engaging and motivating to see my heart rate and effort in real time. Sometimes the initial connection takes a few minutes, but that’s fine, it always connects and usually connects as soon as my heart rate gets higher at rest. The other issues I’ve heard are related to effort vs. heart rate. I feel like mine is accurate but some of my other gym members have had to adjust their settings to make sure their “90% effort,” as measured by the app, is actually 90% effort in real life.

I’m obsessed with this heart rate monitor. It is a little picky about resting sometimes… in which case it will disconnect from my phone for a second but as soon as I pull the app back up it will reload and it’s fine. The sensors can be sensitive. In the cooler months it won’t turn on right away so I’ll just warm them with my hands or if you damp your hands with water and then rub the sensors it’ll turn on right away. Other than that I love it!

This device is great! It's super easy to use and helps me track my runs in ways I never could before! I simply put it on over my chest (it holds its position very well throughout my run, I never need to adjust), and start the workout on the mobile app! It records my heart rate very accurately, because I can personally feel when I am and am not using much energy and it records those moments exactly how I felt them. It's a great tool to use when you're trying to try at certain heart rate percentages. The data comes back in easy to visualize bar graphs which I love. It also has a feature where you can add a picture to every workout which I think is pretty cool now that I've been using it for a few weeks - It's nifty to see the sweat I worked up! Also have literally not had to charge it once yet. Battery life lasts for months, it's incredible. I always bring this with me when I run now!
