Awesome for price and the extra parts are definitly a plus. Three months later with everyday use and am still using the first set of original back flappers.

I love that it came with extra stuff nice a quite and easy to use. Will purchase again.

Easy to assembly. Came with the fitting I needed to connect to the shallow well pipe. Plenty of water. The green plastic handle came with a long crack. Only drawback is after just a few days I noticed what appears to be rust spots on the housing cylinder and securing tab welds. All welds could be better.

Not quite as robust as I hoped. Hard to get a good seal. Had to pump super slow to keep seal.

My wife and I had ordered another brand in the past that failed drastically. But the moment we opened the box we knew that we had a winner. We were so excited to use it we drove out to our land at night to see if it would work.. and just as we thought… it was perfect!!

This pumps really well. I covered it with a folded and duct taped piece of housewrap to keep the open top covered. I always empty the pump before covering. It rusts very quickly. If it rusts all the way through THIS IS NOT stainless. Good pump, faulty advertising.

I wanted to write this review because I'm a disabled middle-aged woman with no mechanical aptitude whatsoever. Using a variety of basic hand tools gathering dust in my cellar, I got this together with no real issues. I bought the pump for "just in case" to get water out of a backyard cistern that's topped with a slab of concrete. Now, I haven't tried the actual cistern, but getting water out of a bucket in my cellar has worked wonderfully! Follow the advice from all the other posts. You definitely will need to add washers to the handle if you don't want it flopping all over the place. Because I can't run a straight pipe into the cistern, I used the adapter that came with the pump and just got a 1" hose to attach to it. For that "just in case" situation, I intend to buy an adapter that will fit a garden hose, too. The instructions are pretty straightforward, BUT you need to read and comprehend all of them before you start. Pages 1 & 2 are what to do when you need to change the leather bowl. If you're not interested in modifications from the start, just jump to the last page or two of directions. If you're using a flexible hose instead of PVC pipe, I recommend attaching the adapter and hose before you put the pump on a stand, and do all of that before attaching the stand to a base. Might be obvious to some people, but... This pump was definitely worth the money and provides me with a little peace of mind.

The over all function of the pump is great. Pulls water up from my 25ft shallow well. It is smaller thread that needed to be made to fit with adapter pipe. The only issue I found is that when pumping it is possible to flex the plunger to one side causing the hardware to contact the cover plate and pop it off interrupting pumping. The lever and plunger pivot points could use some shimming to prevent this. But overall dose it's job well... Get it? "well" ;)

Me llegó un día sábado y a la siguiente semana el día miércoles ubo un huracán mi mi minicipio que destruyó todo y hasta los hoteles. Se llama otis busquen en tiktok videos de Huracán otis, se fue la luz y el agua por 1 mes aproximadamente y la verdad está bombita me salvó de la falta de agua, la recomiendo muchísimo no solo para cultivos y lugares sin electricidad, la recomiendo también para un vaso grave de emergencia con eso le pude ayudar a 3 vecinos mayores de edad a que túbieran agua . Al otro día después del huracán todos los centros comerciales, plazas, Sams club, Walmart, tienda y bancos fueron todo saqueado ya que. O ubo ley por 7 dias todo era un caos y en plena oscuridad en las noches solo nos albraba la luna había velas pero prefería usar la luna y dormir a la misma hora k los pollos xD sale gracias por leer, se los recomiendo

Works great for my artesian well. Love that it’s stainless so it’s perfect for drinking.

Todavía no la instalo, la compré para sustituir a la que tengo actualmente funcionando, se ve de muy buena calidad y es económica

I'm the idiot that couldn't get it to work, then I saw another review that mentioned priming it.... guess what if you add a cup of water to the top this pump works like a champ. No idea how long it will last but right now it's pumping from about 18ft down with no problems.
