I bought this for my husband, because he suffers from tinnitus and needs something that would provide white noise at night. The device has 8 sounds to block out the tinnitus. Auto-timer can be set to play the white noise until the you have set it to turn off and offers 5,15,or 30 minutes of white noise or natural sounds. The white noise machine also has an alarm function. This starts of low and gradually gets louder to wake gently. The device is lightweight and would transport easily if going away.

I had high expectations for this alarm clock, but it never worked and the parts were lose in both devices I bought. Do not buy it.

If I had bought it as a gift for someone I would have been embarrassed to give it to them. It looks cheap and plasticky and I'm thinking about giving it to my local thrift store and ordering something else instead. When using the up/down buttons you have to click it every time instead of being able to hold the button down and have it advance or go back. The sounds are ok except for one that just is nasty static. The instructions weren't that great either. Very disappointing - especially for the price. The only reason I gave two stars is because it does work and it was well packed for shipping.

Great product. I love it. Baby loves it too. But giving 3 stars b cause it just stopped working, it has not even been 3 months of use. Disappointed

Nice product - time only in 24h (military) format. Did see that listed anywhere in product description. Hard to tell time and three is no way to change it. :(

Find I'm sleeping deeper. I use it for 15 minutes when going to sleep and if I am still in that hypnogogic state when it stops, the sudden silence starts my sleep. I've also listen to other sounds and like to time them out in 30 minutes. Also good for sitting relaxing to several of the sounds.

This quit working one week after we had it, which was disappointing because the sounds perfectly drowned out, the outside noise.

The sound from this little machine is terrific however, a clock that does not light up so you can actually see the time is fairly useless. I did read that the display was in military time but assumed you could change that. You can't. Again, why would anyone make a clock that only shows military time? Not that it really matters because you can't see the time displayed anyway. All in all I am not thrilled with this purchase
