This is a great peeler for small and large cabbage heads, to make kraut or strings. It's so sharp, it will also cut your nails if you don't watch out. An excellent kitchen tool!

I use this to shave cabbage and while it can have awkwardoments, that's a user issue. This makes the job go amazingly quickly and makes for easier clean up than anything else I have tried. The handle size/grip is good for me and I am pleased with the purchase.

Love Japanese made products & this is no exception. Quality at an affordable price. Blown away at how finely shredded my cabbage came out. Like fluffy clouds. In seconds. Even with a very sharp knife it took forever to shred as much as this little gadget did in 30 seconds. Price can’t be beat. Quality can’t be beat. Very comfortable to hold. Easy to clean & dry. There are all stainless steel options but they are $35. Since this has a plastic handle just don’t throw it across the room & you’ll be fine.

So I saw someone using one of these tools. It looked cool and I do like the shredded cabbage like they have in Japanese foods. Though why not it can't be that bad, right. This peels the cabbage into fine strips, making it great for salads put under sashimi, in tacos, etc. It's comfortable with a nice grip and the size is good for cabbage. Really enjoyed using this and hopefully it stays sharp :)
