These were too small for my larger spools (they fit the 500-meter size) and the Brothread company was very helpful in suggesting which size would work best for me. This new one is perfect, and I even bought more (I had more thread than I realized!) They are a little pricey, but I would definitely recommend them!

I have both Richword 800M and New Brothread 1000M spools and they easily fit within the boxes, even with spool huggers in place. The spindles keep the spools from sliding around when moving the boxes. These are far more functional than storing thread spools in a cardboard box. The box and latch construction are lightweight plastic, so careful handling is recommended to avoid damage. How long they will hold up to regular use remains to be seen, but this purchase has made my life easier and that makes it a great value!

These high-quality storage boxes are great for storing my 1000-meter spools of thread. They're clear so that I can see what thread colors are stored in each box. They are sturdy and stackable which keeps them neat and organized and, because they have a lid, it keeps my spools of thread dust-free.
