Epson Photoconductor Unit S051104

This is an OEM (Epson) replacement photoconductor unit, which works perfectly with my Epson Acculaser CX11NF. It was packaged well and was simple to install. I got several years of mileage out of the original unit (well over 21,000 pages). Unfortunately, it quit without warning; but Amazon got the replacement to my doorstep expediently. I do think it's a shame that Epson doesn't include any options/information about recycling this big clunky landfill-unfriendly thing. It seems to me like it's something that could be refurbished. I really expected to see a return shipping label included for that purpose. Epson gets a thumb-down on the side for that.

In fact before you purchase this unit try to clean the internal glass. If you are having vertical lines on your paper it maybe as simple as cleaning the glass.. The glass is the internal glass that the paper passes through just before it exits the printer. There is a build in cleaning wand inside the printer that will clean the glass.. Refer to your manual or call Epson customer service and they will tell you where to find it.

Once installed the printer cease to produce clear copies. Poor quality at any price--worth nothing even if it were free.

I ordered this unit in February of 2010. The Epson photoconductor is pricey at $237, considering that one can get a brand new printer with similar to Epson AcuLaser functions for not much more. However, the printer itself has been very reliable for many years and I thought the new photoconductor will be an easy solution to the problem. Well, today (October 2011) the photoconductor died. Just in the middle of working on all bunch of stuff, I got a "Photoconductor error". I am extremely disappointed, due to the fact that the original one has lasted for at least couple of years more and as such, I didn't expect the photoconductor replacement to become useless so soon. Buyers BEWARE! I, personally, will look at buying the new printer next.

Had been working but developed a line of toner on one edge at about 1/3 of life. Could be a cartridge and I will update when I verify the culprit. But as I was searching for a new one the Epson On line Store has a new OEM for about the same price ($256.49 as of this review) I would check Epson before buying non OEM from a third party on Amazon.

I have ordered two or three of these over the 10 years that we have used our Epson CX11. I bought the printer in 2003 when I went into real estate and use the heck out of it. This photoconductor unit is the only part that I have had to buy for it.

Good product so far, no problems getting it in and running. Fast shipping. Prints are clear right from the start. I wished it didn't cost so much but this was the cheapest one I could find. Having trouble recycling the old one because most places don't take photo conductors just toner cartridges.

Rien à dire : le produit est bien d'origine EPSON et le prix était 10 à 15 % moins cher.

Gekauft bei Anbieter sovamax. Ich habe den Epson AcuLaser C1100 seit etlichen Jahren in Betrieb und seit einiger Zeit zeigen sich Flecken und Streifen auf den Ausdrucken. Der Preis der Fotoleitereinheit schreckte zunächst ab. Ein auch gut getesteter Brother Laserfarbdrucker kostete weniger als diese Fotoleitereinheit. Allerdings habe ich etwas dagegen, noch gut funktionierende Geräte einfach zu entsorgen. Schlussendlich kaufte ich die Einheit zum Preis von 226,10 €. Ich habe es nicht bereut. Die Einheit wurde bereits 2 Tage nach meiner Bestellung einwandfrei verpackt angeliefert. Der Austausch alt gegen neu verlief problemlos (mein erster Austausch). Und sofort waren die Ausdrucke wieder tadellos. Ich hoffe, daß der Epson AcuLaser C1100 weiter durchhält, da ich bisher mit ihm sehr zufrieden bin. Für wieviele Ausdrucke die Fotoleitereinheit gut ist, kann ich nicht beurteilen. Aber wenn sie (Epson-Originalteil) ähnlich lange hält wie die, die im Gerät eingebaut war, bin ich mehr als zufrieden.

Protodotto caro, ma funzionante alla perfezione. Soldi spesi bene. I tamburi, rulli, ecc... rigenerati spesso e volentieri non durano a lungo.

Nicht ganz billig, hier ist der Preis 40-50 EUR günstiger als in der Bucht. Die Trommel wurde versiegelt und im original Epson Karton geliefert. Und druckt und druckt und druckt... Klare Kaufempfehlung. Zum Thema Rebuild-Trommel: Was nützt mir eine Rebuild-Trommel für 80-90 EUR, die spätestens nach 2-3tsnd Seiten anfängt zu schmieren etc. Auch wird die Qualität der Rebuild-Trommeln, fast egal von welchem Anbieter, vermutlich haben alle die gleiche Quelle, immer schlechter. Hat man vor einem Jahr noch eine wirklich aufbereitete Trommel bekommen (neue Folie, neuer Chip, neue Rollen und sauber), die fast an die original Qualität heranreichten, so habe ich bei den letzten Bestellungen nur noch dreckige Trommeln mit gehacktem Chip (teilweise schon ohne Funktion) bekommen. Also dann lieber das Original und es rechnet sich tatsächlich.
