Audubon Birds Northern Mockingbird Plush with Authentic Bird Sound, Stuffed Animal, Bird Toys for Kids and Birders

Oh this bird is great, as are the other ones in the series. I love that the bird calls come from the Cornell Lab of Ornithology Merlin database. I have been contributing to the database myself, and tracking live mockingbird echograms. This cute little bird sounds amazing. I bought two other birds for my granddaughter at an interesting truck stop in Louisiana. Bird lovers of any age will appreciate this product.

Another excellent plush from Audubon that has both realistic colors, patterns, shapes as well as sounds. My daughter is an animal behavior and wildlife specialist and she loves these. A nice plush as well as being a good educational toy.

This bird is so cute and soft. It makes an authentic sound.

Very cute and soft! I wish the sound box wasn’t so finicky- but I love it anyway. If you’re only buying it because it makes sound- you might want to look elsewhere. We have 3 of these birds. One doesn’t work at all. One works off and on. And the other is perfect.

I've been looking everywhere for a stuffed animal or some kind of lovey that my toddler would attach to other than his momma. He has been totally IN LOVE with this stuffy since he found it in his Easter basket. Because of this bird, he is now engaging in pretend play and all the other lovely developmental things he should be doing. He probably became very attached to it because he loves Pixar's Piper short so much and this bird looks (and actually sounds) pretty similar to Piper in that. The only thing that would make this better would be able to either replace the batteries or if there was no sound. It has already stopped working completely and he hasn't had it even a month yet.

Members of my family have now bought about a dozen of these Wild Republic Plush Birds with Authentic Bird Sounds. My kids save up for them with their own money, and I like to give them as gifts. They always look exactly as pictured, so we're not misled or disappointed. The sounds are pretty realistic, too, and sometimes we are tricked into thinking we hear a real bird when this toy sings. Of the birds we've purchased, most of them last well over two years (sometimes 3-4 years) on the delivered battery. There doesn't seem to be any way to change a battery, though, so once they're out, you are just left with a cute little stuffed bird.

We needed this for a state float project since it’s the Tennessee state bird. It appeared realistic. It was just the right size for our project. Great for children to adults.
