These changed my running shoes from painful to perfect.
I bought these to hopefully fix the problems I was having with my new running shoes, which were putting pressure on my feet in places that caused pain in my feet and legs. I had tried a different type of Dr. Scholl's inserts which had little bumps and a very different texture that caused a different kind of pain. These insoles are much thinner than any I've used before, yet they solved all my problems. They have just the right amount of cushioning, and don't take up too much space in my shoes. It was tricky figuring out how to separate the two insoles which seemed to be fused together, and the instructions could have been much clearer. However, I did manage to peel them apart. Important note: If you are using these in running shoes with removable inner soles of their own, If you cut the new insole along the lines marked for your shoe size, it may end up not working in your running shoes. I found it works best to pull the original insole out of the shoe and lay the Dr. Scholl's insole on top of the shoe's insole and trace the shape of the shoe's insole onto the marked side of the Dr. Scholl's and cut along the lines you've marked. This will allow the Dr. Scholl's to cover the original insole fully, and you then put both back into the shoe, with the Dr. Scholl's on top.

Adds padding without any support
I got these to use with barefoot style shoes. I wanted a little extra cushion but no arch support or anything like that. These are flat and add some padding just like I wanted. They were noticeably comfortable right away. No added support whatsoever, so if that's what you're looking for then these aren't that. They're also easy to cut to size if you need to. They're slightly slippery but it didn't bother me at all. There was no rubbing issues or anything at all. I actually used them on a long backpacking trip shortly after I got them and they held up perfectly the whole time. They're finally starting to wear a little bit but eventually that's to be expected. I'll definitely get another pair of these.

Good light cushion
These are pretty decent. They are on the thinner side but offer noticeable cushion. I used these in a pair of boots that needed a little extra, especially since I was going to be walking a lot. I tried following the lines to cut down to my shoe size but they didn't fit in the boys so I just used my foot as the template without weight on it, that worked well. I got these when they were really on sale so I definitely think they were worth it.

Who hasn’t used these inserts…
Dr. Scholl's Air pillow insoles have been used by my family for more years than I remember. Certainly my dad used them, and probably my grandpa. These air pillow insoles have many uses, besides fitting in your shoes and making your walk more comfy. Which they do that well. However, I use them for a completely different purpose. I had surgery on both butt cheeks ten years ago and was left with big dents that visibly show when I wear slacks and shorts. I was not going to go through plastic surgery…..So I take these Dr. Scholl's air pillow insoles and cut them to fit the back pockets of whatever I am wearing and they smooth out my dents. Pretty darn cool. Highly recommend.

UPDATED REVIEW - Figured out how to make these work for me with Neuropathy issues
Rewriting this since figuring some stuff out--including how to make these work. Let me preface this is an insight I didn't share before and why this has been such an arduous journey. I have peripheral neuropathy and neuromae on my feet. I'm also disabled and unable to reach my feet. As such, I wear a slip-on sneaker with no socks. So, my bear feet are in contact with any insoles. Thus the need for something thick and cushioned to cut down on the pressure and pain. This product is insufficient if used as directed. It's too thin and provides nothing more than a lining between my feet and the shoe. But, I know what to do now to resolve that! First time I bought them, I loved the thickness and softness, but was shocked to find only one pad in a package. I was unaware at the time that there were indeed two in there, and that you had to pull them apart. Second order--using the "Reorder" feature in Amazon, resulted in receiving a different model/style of these. Still as thin and the soft cover replaced by something with the logo imprinted all over it; the texture of which was not comfortable at all. Third time, used the Reorder, but this time verified that I was getting the ones I wanted--"Ultra Soft Cushion" as it read on the package. I did, they came, and sadly were as thin as the previous order. I wrote a review at that time noting that there must have been a design change in the product given how thin they were compared to the first time I ordered them. (Yes, I know, I missed the step where you had to pull them apart.) But now, I've figured out how to get what I want/need. I'm doubling up on them! I loved the thickness and comfort I got when I didn't pull them apart. So, I'm going to order twice as many and use one package for each foot. They're inexpensive enough that this won't cost me a lot to do so--and no where near the price of other products that still don't provide the comfort I need. Warning for those who wear tight/snug shoes. You will not like this idea of the double thickness as it does make the shoes fit tighter. But if you're someone who wears shoes nice and spacey, you'll enjoy this idea.

I bought this to use together with the Sole Active Mouldable Thin insoles. https://www.amazon.sg/Active-Mouldable-Orthotic-Medical-Singapore/dp/B08WZBNQ6M/ref=sr_1_6 The thin insoles lacked cushioning; using these Scholl's Air Pillo insoles provided light but necessary comfort. These insoles were used on my home slippers. My use was moderate. It's been 2 months, and the airpillo linings have worn out in places and the underlying sponge is showing in different places. Bottomline: It's comfortable and works but doesn't last very long. Mine only lasted 2 months with moderate use.
