Great product and price would definitely purchase again

Exactly like the original Tide, we love, but less plastic. PLEASE consider trying this Eco-box vs so many discarded plastic jugs. It's a way to help save the planet without having to sacrifice one thing. The Eco-box sits neatly on the shelf, doesn't drip and is even easier to pour than what you're used to. Seals tight. Accurate dispensing. Did I mention ...doesn't leak! I had expected to need to use this as a refill, thus pouring it into my last Tide jug. Decided to try the included no leak dispenser, and I could not be more pleased. Love, love it when things work the way they should. Just like Tide laundry detergent, the packaging is effective, easy and works as efficiently as all things should. Plus helps the Planet. Less plastic, less waste, and the large size both costs a little less, per wash, and allows you to order less frequently. The box also weighs less for shipping. It's just an all around sensible choice.

The only laundry detergent I ever use

I buy the large eco box of the Tide liquid detergent for the cost per ounce value. The product works very well. I work on vehicles in my free time, detailing or wrenching and the Tide detergent works better than other less expensive brands that I have tried in the past. The exception is my old favorite Wisk detergent, what worked as well at almost half the price, but Wisk was discontinued. I guess it worked too well for the money... The Tide liquid has a pleasant aroma without being overpowering, and leaves no residue in my washing machine. An all around great performer, but you pay for the experience.

I really have come to like the eco-boxes. They don’t take up as much room on the top of the washer, and as you can see, I can skip the “cup” and fill directly into the dispenser (WARNING: When you first use the box it has a strong flow, so for those unskilled with this dispensing method, USE CAUTION and slowly open the valve, or use the cap). My wife and I have learned the various sizes and amounts needed for my LG HE Front Load washer that we no longer need the cup and directly fill into the liquid detergent area. I really like this as it’s super easy to do (once you learn) and doesn’t drip as you use it. I just open the valve, fill, close valve, use softener (if used, sometimes I use dryer balls or fabric) and off we go. It is the same liquid as the plastic “jugs” and I actually feel there is less “waste” in these compared to the jugs (It takes a lot of effort to empty all of the liquid from a jug for some reason in my opinion). I’ve ripped open the side of the box before and confirmed that very very little liquid was left. They do include a pace to leave the cup, as well legs. We haven’t noticed any issues with just leaving the box flat on the washer and gently pulling it into position. Once the washer is ready, we push it a little further back so any vibration doesn’t toss the box to the floor. I doubt I’ll buy another massive jug anytime soon. My only concern is how recycling works for this due to the type of bag the “bladder” is made of. Complaints? Honestly there are little except that there (as of this review) no other variants available such as “Total Clean” that comes in handy for our children’s clothes. Thanks Tide!

I have no idea why Tide Laundry Detergent Liquid Soap Eco-Box isn't consistently the least expensive (per load) Tide detergent option. I mean, I would think the spare packaging amortized across a fairly large volume would make it cheaper, no? I guess not. Regardless of the cost, though, I do try to do what I can to reduce my plastic usage. As far as the Eco-Box goes, I just use it to refill a plastic Tide container I got years ago. That works well, though you should note that the pour valve does make the detergent shoot out to the side a little. When you get towards the end of the box, though, I'd recommend tearing the package apart. This will allow you to squeeze out a useful amount of detergent that you otherwise would not be able to get to. Recommended

When I saw this small box, I immediately thought there was no way I was going to get 96 loads out of it. I actually kept track so I could decide to cancel or not. About 20 loads in, it looked like there was no way I was going to make it to 96 loads and actually cancelled my subscription. Then I got to the 60 load mark and realized I definitely have at least 30 loads left. Keep in mind this is filling to the "1" line.... but I stopped keeping track now that I know that it will at least give me what it says. Second point, it is super concentrated (read THICK) and will stick to the cup it goes in. I have been using a piece of laundry to wipe the cup out to get it all in the load. It works like you'd expect Tide to work. I have used Tide for decades now, so obviously I like it. The dispenser took me a minute to figure out, but probably because I have 'single parent brain' and can't always figure out how to turn my TV on. Anyway, the dispenser doesn't leak or drip and shuts off easily. The dispensers on the regular tide bottles have leaked on me before. So, overall, I would give this 5 stars and I have re-subscribed to this item.

I'm on my 3rd box of the Tide Eco-Box. I tried detergent strips of various brands, but in the end I had to agree with CONSUMER REPORTS that they just don't clean. On my first box of Tide, I did my usual brain hiccup of Tear on the Dotted Lines Before Reading Instructions, so I had a merry time using aforementioned brain setting it up. I have since learned my lesson and it is not difficult. I like that this is concentrated, so we use much less. (I purchased my 2nd box in May 2023 and have been using it since for 2 messy people and 3 unfastidious cats, 5-6 loads per week on cold wash, front load.) A trick I use is to have a wet washcloth handy to wipe out the cup and then toss the cloth into the wash; I might try just tossing the cup into the wash after dispensing the detergent. That and having the box on a waist-high cart means I don't have little sticky spots all over the place. We also recycle the box by opening up the seams and (a) letting the cats play with the box until they decide that their no-name boxes are more fun and then (b) tossing it into the recycle bin. Has anyone figured out how to reuse the plastic bag and nozzle?

Love it so much makes a close smell nice and clean

I like the way it took out stains. When my children were small, I did not use it because I hated their commercials. They made women look stupid. They have changed strategy and I find it takes out stains better than any that I have used. My children are in their 40s.

LEss plastic (just the bubble that holds the detergent) and tthe rest is recyclable cardboard. The spout makes its really easy to pour into my washing machine's detergent reservoir and doesnt DRIP! thank goodness. This is an "ultra" concentrated detergent so please heed the label which directs you to the HE-rated laundry machine's detergent dispensing factor (ex: 2x, 4x, 6x, 8x etc..). I found that 4x is good . If you use too much then it will bleed onto your clothes , if you use too little then cleaning power reduced. This is often overlooked so i'll mention it here.

As someone who loves industrial designing, I am in love with the way the box is made. Very well thought of. As far as the detergent is concerned, it has good thickness and sudsy value. And the clothes come out smelling good. In the picture you can see the box is as tall as the bottle. Cutting one star because there is no way to get the last few drops. Tilting doesn't help. Finally, I cut open the box and made a small spout at one of the top tips to get more uses out of the left over detergent. So we do save the planet with the recyclable packaging, but we waste the soap. Also the price per wash is more for the box than the bottle. But we can consider that our contribution to Mother Earth. If you are a Tide fan, you will love it too. Go for it!
