A: Yes, they write very dark. These are medium point pens, not fine point.

**Q: What is the difference in the bic glide & bic velacity pens ?**
A: The velocity pens are gel and the glides are smooth ball point pens. Both are amazing. I love both of them. While I work I prefer the glide so I don’t smudge anything. Hopefully this helps!
