Third Gripping Installment to an Excellent Series
The entire Mundy's Landing series is engrossing and suspenseful. The first, Blood Red, was thrilling and a definite page-turner. The second, Blue Moon, was emotional and scary. The third (and I hope not last), Bone White, continues in that vein with gripping suspense and a full history of Mundy's Landing that is filled with tragedy. I almost shouldn't want a 4th book because the people of this fictional town have suffered so much but I must have more. More Mundy's Landing and more Sully and Barnes. Don't miss this series.

The killings continue. Can the murderer(s) be stopped? Read and find out.
I enjoy all of Wendy's books, her stand-alone novels and her trilogies. Flashbacks to events a couple of hundred years ago are interesting and give us insight into their offspring's' character, or lack of. As long as Wendy keeps writing, I'll keep buying.

End of the trilogy.. A good Trilogy!
I love Wendy Corsi Staub's books and haven't been disappointed in them yet. Bone White is the last book in the Mundy's Landing trilogy although the ending does leave it open for at least one of the main characters to continue in another book outside of Mundy's Landing. As for this story, if you haven't read the first two books, Blood Red and Blue Moon, you may be a bit lost. The previous books do introduce and build some of the characters that play important rolls in this one. I'm not sure I would have enjoyed it as much without reading the other two books first. This story continues from the previous ones as most trilogies do but with a new (and 300 yr old mystery) to solve. I was fooled like many by the "bad guy" in this book. I figured it out right before it was revealed in the book. Who's skull does Miss Aurora Abrams have hidden away? And how did this person die? Why is Roy acting like an obsessed fiance to Emerson? Is he obsessed and controlling or is something else going on? More questions arise as the book goes on but to ask those questions, I may reveal some spoilers..

Feels rushed
The book started out well and kept me reading. However, the murders didn't begin until over the halfway mark. The murders felt as if they were an afterthought, and the ending was very rushed. I will continue to read her books, though.

Realistic Spine-Tingling Fiction
This series was awesome. The fictional town was so real, if I didn't know better I'd swear it actually existed. The plot kept me guessing about who the killer was and, once I realized who it was, I was heartbroken. I finished the book a while ago but the story (more so than the other two books in the series) has definitely stayed with me. I loved reading about the recurring characters, especially the police couple. The author puts you into the lives of these characters in a way that makes you care about what happens to them. I look forward to more books by this author.

I liked it a lot but it's almost as if Wendy ...
I liked it a lot but it's almost as if Wendy was in a hurry at the end or ran out of paper or something. Some things weren't neatly wrapped up , especially for a final book in a series. A few characters' stories were left up in the air and I didn't like that.

Very good series. Characters and story strong! Recommend to anyone that likes to read along or to someone who trys to solve the mystery before the story ends!

I want this series to continue! PLEASE!
I have fallen in love with Mundy's Landing, the people who live there, and their intertwined stories. Sully and Barnes are a great team.
