This has saved my sanity. I recently added a 7 yr old cat to our household. He was free fed and 5 lbs overweight by his previous owner. Trying to cut down his amount of food and listening to him meow for an hour before feeding time was making both of us crabby and nuts. I got this and after finally converting the amount of food the vet said to feed him into 1/12th cups, I set up a feeding schedule for the cat to get a small amount of food 5 times a day in addition to his 3x's a day wet food. The cat is happy because he gets to eat throughout the day without over eating. He has even settled down enough to not feel like he has to eat it all immediately and is leaving a little in the bowl. I'm thrilled because I don't have to feed him 8 times a day and he isn't meowing constantly. The set up was fairly easy - once you figure out how to get past the "care app offer". It's easy to adjust the time and amount the feeder dispenses as the cat settles in. The instructions say for best results to be within 20 feet of wifi without walls in the path. I have two machines (the cats don't share well) and one is on the second floor. It set up and works perfectly fine despite being much farther away from the wifi. These are perfect for cats who are very food related and eat everything as soon as you serve it. I am slowly getting my timid kitty used to the machine. For him, I let the machine sit a foot away from his bowl, not set up, for a few days. Then, I set it up to dispense food when he was near but not too close so hecouldcheck it out. The 3rd step was to move his bowl next to the feeder but let him eat out of his original bowl. 4th step was to let him see me take food from the dispenser bowl to his normal bowl leaving some dry in the feeder bowl. After a few days, he started eating out of the feeder bowl and is no longer afraid of it.

I have five cats and five feeders. I use them to make it easier for myself and so I can program them to feed my cats before my dog wakes up in the morning and after he goes to sleep at night. Otherwise, my dog eats all their food. I thought the feeders would be good for a weekend trip away, but I don’t trust them for that. Last night I just happened to look at the app and noticed none of the feeders were online. I thought that was strange so I started trying to figure out why and noticed the app was not working at all. I made the mistake of un binding one feeder so I could reconnect it to the app to see if I could get it to go back online and that is how I knew the app was down. I could not get the feeder set back up in the app or any of them to reconnect to the Wifi. The feeders will still feed even though they lose Wi-Fi connection, but you just can’t tell in the app, which would be kind of scary if I weren’t home. I woke up this morning and the app was working again and the feeders were connected again, and I was able to pair the one that I unbinded, but still, if I were away, I would not have known for sure if my cats were being fed. Other than that, the feeders work fine and really help with scheduled feedings.

I’m very happy with this automatic cat feeder. It was easy to set up, and the app works smoothly — I can schedule feedings and control portions without any issues. The WiFi connection has been stable, which gives me peace of mind when I’m not at home. The design is modern and doesn’t take up much space, and the build quality feels solid. Most importantly, it dispenses food reliably and on time, which is exactly what I needed. This feeder is perfect for busy schedules or when you’re away during the day. Bought used - pretty good. (not brand new) It works pretty well, pairing to wifi was the hard part, per the app instructions it states to keep it within 20 inches from phone, router, and feeder. i had all of them pretty much touching so it would pair easily and could not get it to pair/would pair and fall out after 2 minutes. kept failing, so after days of trying to pair, i plugged it up across the house and it paired instantly. so not sure the issue there. but it works great. inside was absolutely disgusting, maybe i didn’t read where buying used doesn’t get cleaned but there was hair, dried food, and some kind of film all over the feeder. It’s a good size and is not too loud at all, once paired it stays paired and the app functions work great.

Its very easy to clean, the plug doesn't fall out if the wall easily (my cats like to jump on everything). It's decently loud, enough to where the cats hear it before it even starts dropping food and I woke up to it once. Really easy to setup, just had to tweak portions of food a couple of times. It's lasted longer than some other automatic feeders. Good for the money, even though it is expensive.

I have been on a roll reviewing a lot of cat related products lately, but this PETLIBRO automatic cat feeder has honestly been the most useful and brilliant one so far. The setup process was very simple. All I had to do was plug it into the outlet, connect it to WiFi, and pair it with the app. Once connected, everything became extremely easy to control. The app is probably my favorite part because it gives you full control over feeding times and portion sizes. You can choose exactly when you want food to come out and how much food gets dispensed. It will not release food unless you set it to, which makes it very reliable and convenient. One feature that really stood out to me is the voice function. When the feeder dispenses food, it can announce that it is mealtime, and you can even choose how many times the message repeats so your cat hears it clearly. What makes it even cooler is that you can record your own voice instead of using the default message. I was able to say my cat’s name and call him over for food, which made the experience feel much more personal. Another really smart feature is the indicator light on the feeder. If the food level gets too low, the button glows red to let you know it needs to be refilled. That is such a helpful detail and shows that a lot of thought went into the design of this product. One thing I do want to mention for new users is that during the first couple of feeding cycles, the portions might not come out perfectly exact. It may release a little more or a little less food than what you selected at first. Do not panic or think something is wrong with the feeder. That only happened because the product was freshly set up. After using it a couple more times, it started dispensing the portions accurately and has worked perfectly ever since. Overall, this feeder feels modern, convenient, and very well designed. It has made feeding my cat so much easier, especially on busy days, and I genuinely think this is one of the best pet products I have purchased.

Such a great product. I love that my cat hears my voice when it is time to eat. I set it to go off multiple times during the day so he gets nice fresh kibbles. This works great with Iams cat food. Worth every penny to know if I get held up when I’m not home, my sweet boy has something to eat and doesn’t miss his “dinner.” I use this in conjunction with his wet food. He always looks forward to these additional meals through the day. It is easily adjustable to the anmount you want dispensed and how often you want it dispensed. Every cat or dog owner should have one of these. Easy to set up and use! Great value for the money. I have to admit he was a bit timid at first, but got past that quickly. He now goes immediately to the feeder when it plays my voice saying it is time for “dinner” and waits for the food to come through. I’ve been using this for 9 months now.

This was our second try at an automatic feeder for our dogs. We got 2, one for each dog. The previous brand we got started clogging in the first week so we were concerned. I read a lot of reviews on multiple platforms before deciding on this one. We have only had one of these clog once and I think that may have been my fault. We have 2 50+ lb dogs and we were able to put enough food in the large feeders to last 8 days while we were on a trip. It should have lasted 10 days as it is said to hold 20 cups and the dogs were each getting just under a cup of food twice a day but it ran out of food after 16 meals. We had changed to small dog kibble because the previous feeders couldn't handle the regular kibble we used which is not nearly as big as the max size claimed to be able to handle. We are in the process of switching back to the regular kibble now since these are working so well. We will see if that continues. We normally feed our dogs the Kirkland Signature Nature's Own Salmon and Sweet Potato which I think is 12mm sized but switched to the small dog chicken and rice. I love the fact that it tells me when the food backs up in the opening and when the grainary low on food. Those are really helpful notifications. It is annoying that the desiccant only lasts 14 days. Not sure why that is. Our previous one had a camera which it turned out wasn't as helpful as we thought since you can't see their food bowls to determine if they have eaten or not just the tops of their heads while they are eating. So we got a lightbulb camera and hung it above their crates. We can see when they are eating or not with it. Yes, our dogs are crated for meals. They are actually pretty funny as they won't go into their crates to eat if we are home until we go with them. So this hasn't eliminated the need to get up at 6am to feed the dogs. It just means it is faster to deal with and takes less early morning brain power. It has become my morning alarm as their bowls and crates are just in the next room from my bedroom and I can clearly hear them when the food drops into the bowls. We removed the metal bowls and just use the plastic bowl because the metal bowl was too noisy for one dog and too small for the other. One thing different about this feeder is it gives you the amount in parts of a cup instead of weight. It does let you feed all at once or you can break it up into multiple smaller amounts. So far this has been great. Once we get the food switched over to the regular kibble if we have any problems I will come back and report on it.

Edit: Increase rating base on Petlibro wonderful consumer service. Brought up the issue to the original company and after reviewing the video to prove it was the base that was the issue, Petlibro sent me a replacement base. I just got it and it is working so far. Crossing fingers it last more than 2 years. Original: After 6 month of use (and it wasn’t set to go off everyday either), the motor is dead. I keep getting an error message on the app saying the motor is stuck and to clean out the feeder but that’s not the issue. I’ve tried cleaning the machine out and it’s not a food blockage. The motor just won’t turn anymore. I've tried gently turning the motor manually and it won’t budge. There’s no way to open the machine to look under the motor to see if there’s an issue too. Very disappointing. The feeder isn’t cheap either

I had initially thought that this was 6 packs of 4 each. But it's just 6 items in the pack for almost £20. I doubt that this costs more than 20p to manufacture. And they want you to replace them every 2 weeks!

Good feeder for our 2 cats. Nice outlook and is easy to use. Spent a few minutes doing the settings and connecting the network via the App. Everything is under my control, able to feed my cats by schedule or manually. when I was on holiday or working, I can check the bowl of the feeder all the time through my home camera so that I can amend the quantity of food for my cats instantly if in case. I'm not worried about being out of food. Peace of mind.

Heute - Sonntag 7.00Uhr - ich schlafe tief und fest, mit einem leichten Lächeln im Gesicht und die Katze frisst und schlüpft zum kuscheln wieder unter die Decke Ich will nicht zu hoch pokern aber der Automat rettet Familien. Wenn man nach einer stressigen Arbeitswoche einfach mal schlafen darf, hat man vielleicht wie ich manchmal absolut keine Energie mehr um frühmorgens aus dem Schlaf gerissen zu werden und dann mit einem Lächeln das Futter zu präsentieren. Das war nicht gut für mich und die kleine Katze sollte ihren Rythmus auch nicht immer ändern müssen. Und da kam der Futterautomat in unser Leben! Und ich kann es allen nur ans Herz legen, geregelte Futterzeiten, man kann auch mal zur gewohnten Zeit weg sein ohne ein schlechtes Gewissen zu haben bzw sein Tier hungrig sein zu lassen. Der Automat ist super leise und wirklich hochwertig und schön. Appverbindung ist leicht und funktioniert toll, so kann man auch von unterwegs füttern oder feste Zeiten aus Plan anlegen. Der einzige Kritikpunkt wäre das wirklich erst wenn quasi schon kein Essen mehr da ist, die Meldung kommt, dass nachgekauft werden muss (etwa bei 30/40gr Rest) - aber einen Stern abziehen will ich dennoch nicht, da ich einfach begeistert bin.
