Because I was able to suction this feeder to a window, so far the squirrels have not found a way to get to it (yay!). The feeder is clear so I can watch the birds eat from it just on the other side of the window which is really neat. The tray is removable and has holes in it (like the bottom of the holder) so that rain only settles in the middle compartment meant for water. It suctioned to the window well and has yet to come off even after many bird visits and rain.
