This cpu should be supported by I'd assume the current motherboard you have. You may be able to just install the cpu to your motherboard the msi a320m-a promax. Worst case scenario you'd have to do a mobo update to it which can be easily done as the files for the BIOS update should be on the MSI website. There are multiple guides on YouTube to help you out with that if need be. Take into consideration every manufactuar has a different BIOS layout so the guide may not be exact to what yours is. On the MSI website it does show that this cpu is compatible for this mobo with the latest bios update.

I'm using the Ryzen 3 4100 on two b550 motherboards with no problems, however, you may need to upgrade the BIOS.
