ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT QUALITY APRON AND GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE BY THE MANUFACTURER
Wow! This is a super apron!! I was getting desperate to replace my old denim apron that I have worn off and on for decades, mostly off....when the string got to irritating my neck. I came close to getting some old sail canvas from a friend of mine and making my own, well until I found the Hudson product. I bought the gray one and I am very pleased. The apron is very comfortable. I like the reinforced places and the many pockets so I don't have to go looking for my pen, ruler, knife, etc. It is long enough and wide enough to keep my clothing protected. I consider this to be not just an apron, but part of my essential tools. I have had if for just over a week and put it through the test ground. I do mostly wood work, but also some stained glass jobs, and a bit of metal work too. This apron has stood up to everything without any complaints or problems. Follow up comments: I have worn this apron almost everyday now in my shop for five months. It is everything I expected and more. Even more comfortable now that it is broken in. Absolutely no problems and certainly it is the most comfortable apron I have ever worn. Certainly worthy of five stars. If you are serious about a really good apron, buy this one! You will be supporting a small business. Something that we all benefit from. Jeremy Hudson will be sure to give your order his personal touch. Great communications with Jeremy Hudson when I had a delivery question.

Work Apron or Suit of Armor
This work apron exudes quality from the moment you take it out of the box. It is heavy-duty (and heavy), it feels like it will keep you clean and well-protected from most things that going flying around the shop. The way the straps work keeps it secure in exactly the position you adjust it to after you put it on. Pockets are in the right place and overall the apron is well thought out and well made. The only negative is that I don't want to mess it up, feels too good to ruin it in the workshop...

Great manly apron
Man o man... when this is put on, the grill game is strong! (Lol, corny, I know). Fits well, great color, deep pockets, and holds my phone and other items tight. Love this apron.

Durable, comfortable, attractive, just the right amount of storage, but...
After reviewing every shop apron on the Internet to use in a series of woodworking podcasts, we settled on the Hudson apron and were very pleased with the quality. Heavy cloth, but not so heavy that you feel like your wearing armor. Adequate storage for frequently used tools, but not so many pockets that you lose those tools in the apron. Comfortable, but remains close enough to protect you as you move. And a handsome design. Most aprons look like the designers stood back about twenty feet and randomly threw pockets at the cloth. The Hudson is well thought-out from both a practical and aesthetic point of view. And it's because I like these aprons so much that I have to tell you there's room for a little improvement. First of all, it would only cost you a few pennies to add a plastic buckle at the back -- old guys like me find it increasingly difficult to tie a slip knot behind our backs. Second, you need to offer shoulder protectors like you've made for your "heavy-duty" model in all colors. Those 3/4" straps bite after a few hours. I would have ordered your heavy-duty apron apron for the shoulder protectors alone if you had them in the color we needed for the videos. Why not offer the buckles and protectors as add-ons? Finally, you need to offer a service for embroidered names and logos. These aprons are attractive enough that businesses like mine will want them to keep their employees looking sharp. Well made and worth it.
I got this apron to use in my job when I am doing tile installations and working around a wet saw. It is really well made and I expect it to last for years. It has well located pockets and the one size fits all system should fit any size user. It is waxed canvas, so it isn't like a totally water proof rubber apron would be, but that's ok, it's water resistant enough and the waxed canvas is more relaxed and comfortable than a more rubberized apron would be. Also the length is just right for me, it ends at my knees, so I can still kneel down for floor tiles without kneeling on the apron. Shipping and service were very prompt.

Great, sturdy apron
This is my first shop apron, and I really like it so far. It’s very sturdy, and I can see it lasting a long time. The craftsmanship is evident in the stitching and construction. The pockets are nice and deep and easily accessible. Two suggestions for possible improvements: First, you could add some adjustable side-release buckles to the straps. I bought a pair on Amazon for about $9, and I think it was a worthwhile investment. (Maybe I’m just too lazy to tie a bow every time I put it on!) Second, I’m not sure the right name for it, but a piece of leather in the back to adjust where the straps cross would be nice. (I hope that makes sense.) I ended up just tying a knot to keep it in a comfortable position. Otherwise, the straps tend to fall off my should when I bend over. Even without those two mods, it’s a very nice apron, especially for the price. Highly recommended.

Hey I'm a little gal and this fits PERFECT!
Beautifully well-made and perfect for any size person, large or small, I'm 5' 1" 112 lbs and this fits me great. I will be using this for many things around the house. While it is not a kitchen apron, I can still see using it if I'm working hard around the house and want to keep my clothes cleaner. Gardening, working with tools, etc., this will be perfect! I can see using it to haul in vegetables from my garden for dinners, etc., Very sturdy and grommets appear sturdy and secure. I have had a neck fusion and hate things around my neck, especially if I want to put anything in a pocket. The pockets are beautifully done, and room for cell phone, etc., while protecting my clothes. Awesome purchase...

Perfect for woodwork/lapidary in my opinion. See review!
Im 5'3 125lbs and this fits pretty good. Ive been a cnc machinist for 20 years and have worn shop aprons. This one needs some working in and wear for machinists on a job shop floor, however I did not buy this for machining. I bought it for lapidary. And I got to say this Hudson apron is gonna be perfect. Its comfortable (im in pjs and have the apron on as I type this sitting in my computer chair). The pockets are decent. I like the location of the lower pockets. The upper pocket in my opinion could be a little longer by 1/2" to 1" for a better pocket depth for a 6" scale. Other than that, well made and well done Hudson.
