Essential item to charge my PSP batteries on the go.
I am glad that I was able to find this particular charger. Also the fact that it is OEM and brand new was a real find to say the least! I was also surprised at how long the power cord is. Such is a definite plus. In short, I am glad I was able to purchase this item at it's price point and condition.

PSP battery charger
Nice product to have. I can have one battery charging while using another in the PSP. No longer tied to a wall outlet while playing. I would recommend. Yes, it does have a cord, not prongs, but that's not a problem for me. I leave it plugged in on my desk, I don't use it for traveling but even if I did what's the problem with a power cord? The cord does disconnect from the charger and does't take up that much room in a carrying case. At least it HAS it's own cord and doesn't require the PSP charger to work.

Worked for me Original Sony Product
This device comes with a long cord for the actual charging device, I wished it just had the prongs to plug in directly into the wall. The cord is the same one that plugs into the AC adapter/charger that comes with the PSP so it really is not a hassle to pack if you are on a trip. It is an actual Sony product and not an OEM knockoff. 99% of the batteries you find here are cheapo knock offs but this appears to charge those as well. The battery securely locks into the charger and is easily removed by pressing the tab at the top.

Nice charger (for a Sony battery)
Doesn't work so well with 3rd party batteries. Well, doesn't work AT ALL. Get an error light when trying to charge anything other than a Sony battery but does a great job charging an original battery. Worth every penny. Great investment for the battery that came with the PSP because it charges while using the off-brand replacements. Buy away!

Sony Paperweight
Really slick paperweight. Bad battery charger. It won’t charge any batteries you can actually buy for a psp. All these Sony brand chargers are literally useless in 2023. Worst part is it’ll say it’s charging FOREVER but isn’t doing anything but wasting your time. Buy an off brand, they actually charge.

works great but why the cord?!
i own a psp 3000 and have a 2nd sony battery and it charges both nicely. bought this thinking it would have prongs to simply connect to a wall socket so it would be portable and easy to take along however you need to attach a rather long cord to the bottom of the unit and then plug it in the wall. it takes approximately 2-3 hrs to charge from zero bars just like the ac adapter. the good thing about this unit is that i can play without any interruptions while my 2nd battery is being charged. although the nuisance of having a cord defeats the purpose of it being portable, i am still satisfied overall by its usefulness in allowing me to play uninterrupted. i've tried using a third party battery on this charger and it will not charge and the orange light on the charger blinks which means it won't charge so becareful with non sony batteries.

Great!
The only issue I had is that its not a wall-plug in like the old one I had. This one has an extension chord. The nice thing about the chord option is that I can plug it options when I travel that I used to not have. BUT, I have the liability of another chord to drag around when I travel that I hate. Charges my basic and extended batteries pretty quickly. Good unit and a great deal at this price.
