I took these about an hour before my first meal and felt energized like I had just had a cup of coffee without the caffeine jitters.**edit**I'm writing this 4 days after my initial review. If you are not drinking enough water with these they might cause you to have a headache. I have been taking these for 4 days and I tested drinking less water than was recommended and ended up with a pretty naggy headache. After drinking water (min 64oz) I felt much better. As for an update on whether they work or not, yes yes yes they do. I have not changed my eating habits (ketogenic diet) at all and have lost 5 pounds in 4 days after being in a major slump for about a month. It may be water weight, it might be actual fat loss, I'm not sure, but I see a difference. I am taking these in conjunction with MCT oil capsules and I feel better than I have ever felt. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars!*Update- 30 days in*I am still taking these, I am still loving these.
