The translucent formula makes it easy to see exactly where you’re shaving, which is especially helpful for trimming around my beard and mustache. Absolutely love this shave butter! This is probably my fourth time or so, ordering it. I was skeptical at first but decided to go ahead and give it a try. I’m glad I did! Goes on smooth (just like butter) and unlike other shaving creams and shaving foams, this shave butter is transparent. So you could actually see what and where you’re shaving. I highly recommend.

I was hoping this product would have a lot of Shea Butter in it? It doesn't. The Shea Butter makes all the difference when shaving. I used it with my old school safety razor and it worked very well in the shower. Plus, it's very easy to use. I used it with my straight razor and the verdict is mixed. I did bleed a little. I'm happy with the purchase. After using this several times I changed my overall rating to 4 stars. I especially like using it in the shower. It's perfect for the shower and definitely gives a close shave. The only thing that I wish was better is the fragrance, or lack of? They need to come up with some pleasing fragrances. That will help sell the product. If they improved the fragrance, I'd probably have to get rid of my old school shaving creams. Sorry, I like the smells. Update again, another issue is that to get a smooth gliding shave you need to use a good palm full of product and that makes it fairly expensive. If you use a lot you do get smooth close shave, but it will cost you. Last thing, it burns your face more than others like Taylor's. But, it's fast. I ended up giving it to my wife and went back to Proraso and Cella. This product clogs up my DE too fast and it's hard to get out.

If you want the closest, cleanest, most comfortable shave possible, this is as good as it gets.

My husband usually uses the shave cream in the Blue can but he was ready to change due to the fact that the blue can was becoming worse and worse trying to get the product out of the can. Amazon had this Shave Butter advertised for Prime Day and he decided to try this. He loves it and does it ever make a difference on his skin, a huge difference, this makes a very close shave. He’s hooked.

I have been using this product for a long time, but really disappointed to see that I got an item that was manufactured 2 years ago. It takes me around 2 years to finish this product but the expiry is only 11 months.

Been using this for years & love the product, not a fan of Aussie direct site so trying USA version.
