Feeling better about my coffee footprint
I love these little cups. After having used them for a few months, I have a lot of comments, but the main takeaway is: they work great, and they are the best solution I've found to quickly brew a single cup of coffee on my own terms. Here are some things I've learned: 1) I got a 4-pack of these cups, and typically drink about 2 cups of coffee a day when working from home. With the frequency I use the dishwasher, 4 cups is enough that I never have to hand-clean one when I'm ready for coffee. The dirty cups in the dishwasher are clean by the time I go through the spares. 2) These wash well in the dishwasher. My machine has a silverware rack with a flip-top cover, so I fold the lid back on the cups and put them in the silverware tray face down and close the rack. Occasionally I'll put a spoon or something in the same tray to kind of pin it down. The cups come completely clean, there aren't coffee grinds all over my machine, and the cups seem to be holding up just fine to the wear. Obviously, you want to knock most of the grounds out into the trash can before washing, which leads me to... 3) While the lid of the cup is still closed, bang the cup on the counter or sink a couple of times before dumping it in the trash. This will loosen them up a bit and they'll fall right out. Then, straight to the dishwasher (or even use it again if you are turning things around quickly). If you have the time/space, just let it dry out completely and then the old coffee tumbles right out. 4) An earlier review recommended the "Perfect Pod EZ Scoop" (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01AML6LT0/) which I skeptically bought for about $7. This little gizmo is a *must*...do yourself a favor and add this to your coffee drawer. It's kind of hard to explain, but the pre-measured scoop and no-spill lid really do make the process easy and mess free...you won't regret it. 5) The cups are holding up very well. They don't hit the needles in the machine, and the plastic 'hinge' in the lids has held up very well to my usage and the extreme heat of my dishwasher. I've been using them for 6 months now and they show no sign of wear...even though I'm totally willing to buy a new set when these break, because I like my current setup a lot. I also think the minor expense is worth it to keep 2 k-cups per day out of the landfills. 6) I have an old Keurig machine...like, really old, I don't even know what model it is. So I can't comment on how these work with the new machines that try to validate the cups. I really hope that my brewer doesn't die so that I don't have to run that experiment. Obviously, I'm quite pleased. I don't really have anything negative to say. You *do* have to clean the cups, which is a negative versus the disposable k-cups. But if you are here considering this product, you are probably looking for a reusable solution. They are a lot easier to clean than my reusable pour-over filter, and it's nice that you can get enough that you don't need to worry about cleaning it immediately. Highly recommended!

Great product
I'll be honest, I didn't have high expectations with this product. I was tired of buying k-cups because of how expensive they were. I also am really trying to be more environmentally responsible so I ordered these to try out. I was very pleased with the product after using multiple times for my coffee. It is functional, easy to use and easy to clean. It is saving me a lot of money because k-cups are so expensive. I can buy local coffee from my favorite shops in town and be able to utilize this product. I will definitely continue to use this and would highly recommend it to friends and family. Great buy.

Congratulations
Whether you choose to go with this product or not, congrats on taking the first step to come out of the K-Cup quandary. Not only are they not bio-degradable, they lack the aroma and taste of fresh ground coffee. With these reusable pods, you can enjoy your cup of joe just the way you like it. Now coming to this product, I would say it is intelligently designed for the dumb Kurigs of yesteryears. My neighbor ordered this unit along with me and it did not work on his Kurig as it is the later generation with the "smart" screen that keeps you entangled within the Kurig line of products. My Kurig is the dumb one without the sensor and these pods work brilliantly. They are made to measure and have room to avoid the pin at the base. the inlet pin at the top fits perfectly through the lid and I have had no issues with leaks. The coffee tastes better as they are fresher and cleaning these pods is a breeze - just rinse it out and they have been in the dishwasher too. The 4-pack makes sense as you dont have to make and rinse and reuse the same one if you are making more than 1 cup of coffee (this convenience ends at 4 cups but who needs more than 4 cups at the same time!). They are made of sturdy materials (although the bright pink color is a bit odd - but not a deciding factor) and at just over 2 bucks a piece, you have a great deal right there. I would recommend it. Buy it.

Can save money with this, but has some flaws
Great concept that works fairly well. This specific item has basic plastic hinge which is rather thin and seems susceptible to breaking within a short usage period. Easy to use. Top lid seals well enough though could be better. Some finer coffee grounds get through the filter into the cup. All in all, itโs almost as good as premanufactured k-cup. Cost of ground coffee works out to be substantially cheaper than pre packaged k-cups.

Nice! Actually works with my Keurig Mini!
First, buying 6 is probably one of the best values on Amazon for this kind of product. Bottom line: Best cups I've used. I feel the coffee they produce is every bit as good as high quality retail K-Cups. Being able to grind my own coffee means it's fresh. Also, I'm not throwing away all that plastic. Things I like: - Showerhead design. I can't prove it prevents channeling, but it seems far more likely to prevent it compared to some other designs I've seen and used. - Mesh on the bottom. Again, I can't prove the flow through the grounds is improved, but the design suggests it does work better. To be honest, the mesh on the sides could probably be skipped completely as long as their is mesh on the bottom. - Size. Slightly bigger than some other models, which means you can stuff a bit more coffee into the cup. - Filters. Paper cup filters are not a perfect fit, but they are close enough. The extra bit of resistance the paper cup filters offer seem to increase contact time and help with extraction, without causing a mess. - Works with the K-Mini. The seller says it doesn't, but it does. No leaking. Good results. What I don't like: - Color. Sorry, I'm not a fan of purple. :) Maybe red or green?? - Durability. The mesh looks delicate. I'm very careful with stuff, so I don't think it will ever be a problem for me. But that might not be true for everyone. - Instant POD. It's a very snug fit in my Instant POD machine. I'm a little concerned about the effort I need to exert to close the lid. It works once the lid is closed. I might try modifying one of the cups to see if I can improve the fit.

A great way to make your kurieg coffee CHEAPER!
These reusable pods are great because not only are they cheaper than buying one-time-use pods, but they are environmentally friendly. I bought these years ago and they still work great! I think two of them thought the lids came off. They work just like a kurieg pod and tastes the same when you brew your cup!

great product saves on the environment and money
I love these pods. I use them with an additional paper filter that is made for these size pods since I grind my own beans and the dust is a sometimes a bit finer than the screens. Also the paper filters make cleaning out grounds WAY easier. I drink between 20-50 oz a day in 10 oz increments, so these get a lot of use. They load up, drop in and give me a cup of coffee for about 24 Cents (using premium beans Black Rifle). Compared to some K cups that can cost up to a dollar a cup (WAWA k-cups are $12 per dozen). to be sure you can get cheaper k-cups but I have found those to create weaker results, this I can control the flavor a bit, plus I get the benefit of not having to deal with all that waste. Worth the money. I like these even more than the larger ones that Keurig puts out. I find them to be over engineered, and more expensive and the value for the money is not there. Either way these get the job done and then some. Great simple product.

An Excellent Cost-effective and Green Choice that adds Variety to your Kuerig
We love our Keurig, but the cost and environmental impact of all those K-cups was disheartening. Then, on a recent trip to Seattle, my wife discovered a local coffee roaster she loved and we wanted to bring home some coffee. But, like most small roasters, they didnโt offer their coffee in K-cups. That was the tipping point for us to order these. Hereโs what happened: My wife was really fearful that her beloved dark roast Peetโs coffee wouldnโt taste the same with these, so I prepared a blind test. I brewed one cup of dark roast Peetโs coffee from their standard K-cup, and then I sliced open another one of their standard K-cups, poured the ground coffee into the Maxware reusable K-cup and brewed that. The first thing I noticed was that with the Maxware there was water some leakage out the side of the Keurig. That has never happened before. Now, I tamped down the coffee in the Maxware a bit and may have compressed the grind a bit too much so that a bit of the water bounced off the top of the coffee instead of going through it. Indeed, the water looked like it contained grounds in it so I think thatโs what happened. It wasnโt very much water at all, and since it may be โuser errorโ on my part Iโm not going to count that against the Maxware. I brewed both cups into a glass so I could see if there was any color difference. In the picture attached the Maxware cup is on the left. Looking at it in person, I really couldnโt see any color difference. Good start. Next, I had my wife taste both cups. She didnโt know which cup was which. Her verdict: โThey taste remarkably similar.โ I then mixed them up again and had her taste them a second time. She was still unaware which was which. This time she said the Maxware was very slightly more watery. Given my wifeโs very fine coffee palate, I was concerned when she said this, but she quickly added that the difference was so slight as to be almost unnoticeable and certainly not an issue for her. Jaw drop because EVERYTHING about coffee is an issue for her, so this really must have been almost undetectable. (For the record, I tasted both too and thought they were identical, but Iโm not the connoisseur she is and I can rarely distinguish even โgoodโ coffee from โbadโ coffee, so my opinion is relatively meaningless here.) Finally, there was an issue with a very small amount of grinds ending up in the bottom of the glass when using the Maxware. In the picture, this time the Maxware is on the right. (Sorry about the switch.) I think that this is actually a real issue, but not a big one IMO. Overall, I give this product 4.5 stars (half star deduction for the excess grinds). If youโre concerned with the cost or the environmental impact of disposable K-cups, or if you want to use coffee that just doesnโt come in that form factor, I think these are a great option.

Fits the New K-Express
I had previously purchased two more expensive refillable pods because they specifically stated that they fit the new Keurig model. They were excellent but far too pricey to buy more, so I ordered these as they appeared to be structurally similar. To my surprise these fit perfectly in my K-Express and did the job with no mess and no fuss. I couldnโt be happier with my purchase.
