My second to oldest son (9) is a bit dinosaur obsessed. However after years of buying dinosaur products we had to get a bit creative this year. I of course took to amazon to find something a little better for his age when I came across this. I'll be honest and say I almost didn't add it to his wishlist because we never seemed to have good luck with "character" style games in the past. I added it and decided to come back for another look and I'm so glad I did. We went with this game and awaited Christmas morning to see if he would enjoy it as much as we hoped he did. I really don't think it could have gone any better. He absolutely loves this game, LOVES. We of course opened it up right after he unwrapped it and truly couldn't have been any more pleased. This game is made extremely well, even for the rough hands of children. The board, player pieces and every other object included was better than I was expecting. The board, dinosaur purchase cards and pictures are very detailed and anatomically correct as my son of course examined every single one. Though this is played the same as regular monopoly you purchase dinosaurs or eras instead, which blew his mind. Each of the dinosaurs available for purchase has a card that gives a few details of the dinosaurs, which was perfect. Its all round super cute, creative and the details were definitely thought out. I truly cant say enough positive things about this game. I'm so glad we decided to take the chance on this one. This would be a perfect addition for any dinosaur lover, perfect. Though I'm pretty positive it would be perfect for really any kids. We have played this game almost every single night since Christmas and it has yet to show any wear. I have recommended this game so many times already and will continue to. This was a huge hit here and I'm sure it will be in our house as well.

My 7 and 8 yr old boys love this game !! My 7 yr old loves dinosaurs so this is an added bonus !! Just like monopoly except you buy dinosaurs , It is alot of fun for kids and adults .

What a great teaching tool for my arsenal! Engages kids who love dinosaurs and they learn about money management. Properties are dinosaurs and each "property" card tells facts about them including how to pronounce their names. Instead of "houses" you put up "bones" (dig sites) and instead of hotels you put up museums. Excellent take on the classic Monopoly game. Highly recommend for your inner or future paleontologist!

Monopoly and dinos - love it! The board and pieces are fantastic. The simpler rules make for a shorter game play. I'd say it's geared toward younger players than the typical Monopoly game. Con: My only real complaint are the cards. There seems to be far fewer "chance" and "opportunity" cards and the actions are rather dull. (This could be due to the intended audience being younger... keeping things simple)

Dino version of Monoply. I did not like the pawns they were very small and hard to find on the board. I do not think this is a new game because it was not in the plastic wrap it came in a plastic bag. It is a nice game otherwise.

This game is great for the dinosaur fans. Also, I love the educational opportunities with this game. Each dinosaur card has facts that can be quizzed on throughout the game. My only complaint are the small token pieces. They're really difficult to see on this board. We just use a few of my son's small dinosaurs to make it easier. Love the game and would highly suggest it.

Kids (ages 8-13) enjoy playing this game!! Even though the short version didn't really take 30 minutes:)

Purchased this game for my 7 year old grandson who is currently into dinosaurs and he loves it. Interesting fun facts and it is also helping math skills with the money exchanges.

9 year old nephew loved this one. Great family game to play on a rainy day or when the power is out. Reminds me of my own family's games night as a kid. Worth the price for the nostalgia alone!

Gave as a Christmas gift to a 10 year old who loves dinosaurs. He loved it and plays with his family.
