Good for speed control, simple installation
Solid little controller that does exactly what itโs supposed to do. I used the Riorand 7โ70V PWM DC motor speed controller for a small project, and it handled speed adjustments smoothly with no noticeable lag or overheating. The knob feels responsive, and installation was pretty straightforward if you have basic wiring knowledge. That said, itโs not perfect. The build quality is decent but not amazingโthe casing feels a bit light, and the terminals could be sturdier. Also, thereโs no real instructions included, so beginners might need to look things up. Overall, a reliable and affordable option that gets the job done, just donโt expect premium build quality.

Great for power wheels
This was a game changer for my sonโs power wheels quad. I spliced the plugs in and use it on two different types of machines. One is the Perego John Deere tractor and the other the Yamaha electric raptor. I use Ridgid batteries 4amp and 8amp they both work great . You can turn the dial up and down with voltage resister for speed control. You will need 30 amp fuses if your kid rides hard. They pop once in a while when the machine is pushed hard.

Yes in deed...
I do my lawn care and my sons and I do a few friends' lawns. I needed something to regulate the GPM my sprayer distributed. The pressure regulator does not slow down the flow enough to spray prodiamine effectively so I got this device and hooked it up. This device slowed down my 5.5 gpm pump to one gpm. I needed a little more than that of course but for prodiamine, you want to get large droplets into the soil for best results at the recommended rate. Exactly what I needed. Now I can spray my fertilizer, weed treatment, and pre-emergent, all with the same setup. Just set the correct pressure to get the flow I need, choose my spray tip, make sure my 12v battery is charged, and off I go. I have over 20k of lawn to spray so the little back sprayer is too much of a hassle. I use a 26 gal sprayer setup with a 50ft hose. I add 21 gal of solution in the tank and it's done in 35-40 min. Awesome product.

Junk for 15 amps. Maybe good for much lower draw.
Junk. Tried running a rad fan through it that advertised 15 amp draw. Bought this bc it said good for 30 amps. It fried after very little use. I just bought a different 40 amp one, hopefully that does the trick. Junk.

Bought to replace blower motor resistor
I got this to act as my ac blower motor controller in my 88 trooper. +12v through a relay to power it (getting signal from fan controls) and the + and - wires straight to the blower motor terminal. I made sure those wires were terminated securely and will sized to avoid anywhere along the cable heating up and increasing resistance. I just had to splice the wires for the knob to lengthen them to install the knob on my dash.

Perfect for blower motor control on old cars.
Used this for blower motor control in an old car. This works well for that purpose. There is a fair bit of inrush current when you switch the unit on. I used an HVAC-switched power source on a relay so the PWM module is only powered when the HVAC is active. I'm taking off two stars because the wiring in the included fuse block is undersized. Even at 16 amps of measured current through the fuse, the wire is getting warm. At 30 amps I am sure that wiring would be screaming hot.

Excellent product. Tested it as soon as I received ...
Excellent product. Tested it as soon as I received it and works great. For those of you looking for instructions here's how I used it: The thin red and black wires are to power the unit. This requires a voltage between 5V~30Vdc to work reliably. Below 5V, the display goes dim. Once you've powered the unit, it will display the source voltage in red digits. Now for the load current you use the thick RED, BLK and YEL wires - connect the RED & BLK to the +ve and -ve terminals of your power source respectively. Now connect the +ve of your "load' to the +ve of the power source and -ve of your "load" to the YEL wire. This should supply current to your load and display the load current in the blue display. Hope this helps.

Good meter - Poor Diagrams
It's a good thing I work with electronics because the diagrams on on this listing and on the suppliers web site would be confusing. One shown is for a three wire unit and another is for a AC meter. Yes the principal is the same but they could frustrate a novice. The good news is the meters work well. The ones I got are quite accurate compared to my Fluke bench meter and displays are bright and easy to read. I use one to monitor the raw output of my solar panel at the input of the charge controller and one to monitor the charge voltage and current at the 12v batteries. I used to tie up a few multimeters to check on this but these little meters left in circuit make it easy to keep an eye on things. I just connected the meters small and large red wires to the source positive and the small and large black wires to the source negative. Connect the load positive to the source positive and the load negative to the meters yellow wire. Received in good order and on time.

broken within 1 hour of use
I used it to power one 775 brushed DC motor at 12V, well within specs. used it for less than an hour and suddenly it gave out, would not turn on after this, DO NOT BUY.
