Monoi Tiki Tahiti - Tiare Coconut Oil - Original Tahitian Gardenia Fragrance - For Hydrated Skin and Hair - 4 fl. oz. (Pack of 2)

I’ve been buying this for a little decades now and I think it’s so underrated. I use it sometimes on my skin and hair, during or after some time in the sun but I ALWAYS use it after a shower on my freshly shaved legs. If I put it on while my legs are still a bit damp it absorbs at just the right consistency- not too oily with just a right amount of softness and it smells absolutely divine. The smell however is not too strong and in fact I can’t really smell it all a few hours later but that’s OK with me since I’m not really looking for it to act as a perfume. I’m sure I’ll be buying this until I’m no longer physically able to push the left clicker button on my mouse.

This is a delightful product, coconut oil with tiare and perfume. There’s an actual flower in the container. This is a deeply scented product and the fragrance lasts a long time. I happen to love the scent so that’s a good thing. At room temperature in my house, at least in October, this product is completely solid although ‘squeezable’ from the container. It still works fine, just a heads up to people in northern climates. It’s great for hair or skin. Made in Tahiti.

Being from Hawai’i, a bottle of Monoï is a must in most households. Now being in the mainland, it’s harder to come by, and I’ve missed the scent and feel of this oil on my skin. So happy to have some in my cabinet again, and just in time for this summer heat and days on the sand, can’t wait to be golden tan again! The scent is amazing, deliciously sweet Gardenia (Tiare) and a hint of coconut. This isn’t necessarily an every day moisturizing oil, unless you like to be extremely oily, this is definitely more of a tanning oil, but it is moisturizing thanks to the coconut oil, and your skin will feel soft and luxurious for a couple of days. Not sure how, but packaging might’ve been a bit better, mostly cause I think at some point the bottles experienced some pressure during shipping and one of them leaked a bit, not terribly, but there was definitely oil loose in the packaging. Also, my dogs love this oil too! I pour a very little amount in my hands and rub into their fur (very little! too much and they end up oily), it’s like a little massage for them and their fur ends up really soft and they smell so good! Worth the buy for a little taste of home!

The smell reminds me of Hawaii! I use on my skin and in my hair if I don’t blow dry it. There is a flower in the bottle that looks like a tequila worm, so don’t freak out when you notice it.

I was given a sample of this oil in Bora Bora and found this online. I ordered two bottles because I was in Heaven with the gardenia fragrance I had experienced from the sample. When I received the bottles and opened one there was MAYBE 1% fragrance. I tried to return the bottles and I was told the company does not accept returns! DO NOT purchase this fraudulent product... its just oil and is NOT what it says it is.

Have used for many, many years and love, love it, but 4 stars due to high price.

I love tiare with coconut oil, a pure product. When the bottles arrived there was a small print sunscreen added on the front, not what I ordered or was advertised on Amazon. So disappointed
