Extremely handy for repairs
I like Fixits more and more as I use them around the house. I've fixed the rubber strap on my kid's school shoes, a broken hook, a bin that clips onto the cupboard, a plastic bedside book/ drink holder and made a new end cover for a chisel as the original one has disappeared. Fixits harden to a strong plastic that can handle a very decent amount of weight and work well. My only issue is that they can be tricky to use as when the stick melts in the hot water it can stick to everything (see the residue on the hook photo) and can harden before you have attached it successfully. I therefore use metal tweezers or a metal spoon to hold the Fixits stick or moulded ball in the water then pour more hot water over it in situ when needed. I tried using a hairdryer but found it difficult. Fixits are more durable than Sugru with certain fixes (I found the latter sometimes detached from the repaired object over time with certain plastics), but not heat resistant. The other product is more suitable for fixing my favourite cracked coffee mug and also it adheres better to certain materials that Fixits don't (it worked as a metal key fob) so I will keep them both for repairs. I like having the tin as it's easy to store and, considering all the things that I've fixed so far that really bugged me or were formerly rendered unusable, definitely worth the money.

Pointless gimmick
Clever idea, but zero adhesion and has been inferior to surge in everything ive tried to use it for, just a gimmick.

Great item, shame the tin box is damaged...
Used this product before as good for fixing things, but always purchased the one in cardboard. Though a tin box one would be nice to be able to keep them stored. But the tin is dented quite badly. Shame. Can't give this as a gift... So won't buy again

Good
This is better than a similar product starting with a "S", its actually reusable and is solid when it sets. It requires a bit more heat than it says on the tin, especially when removing. Don't use boiling water as it really loses consistency.

Great for specific things
These work brilliantly for stuff where hard plastic needed. It’s not Sugru but it’s a nice different way to fix crap that breaks a lot!!!!

Super useful stuff. Make it go soft. Wrap around something. It dries stiff again. Fab!

Good concept
I like the idea, but because they don't stick, I haven't really found any circumstance to use it for. Tried it for one thing and even though I glued it, it just came out as was too heavy. Sadly a bit of a waste of money, though I want it to work!

Not tried this out yet. Purchased after seeing it shown on a TV programme. A useful standby in an emergency.

Erst in Wasser erhitzen, dann formen, fertig.

I had some things I wanted to repair at home, from the headphone cable to the pressure clamp, among others. It was fun to mold it, but the time to harden was fast, but just put it in hot water again and it was ready to play withn again
