We installed these gimbal lights inside a curio cabinet. Wow! The lights are perfect to make the crystal and objects sparkle. Just what I wanted. Easy to install and comes with everything you need including easy instructions. Very good value.

EDIT UPDATE: *** Lamps still going strong after a few months so far. I decided that 3500k was too bright white so I reset mine down to 2700K. However, when squeezing them back up into place, I inadvertently bumped the setting switch on a couple of them and had to remove them again to reset. So tape the selector switch securely in place before reinstalling. And remove the lamp gasket ring if you are in dry location, otherwise they won't be snug flush against the ceiling. *** I have 3-inch, 8 watt, black trim. I set mine at 3500k and they are incredibly bright. Color temp setting must be done before placing in the ceiling, but the gimbal is adjustable after installation. In my 10 x 12 room with 7 ft ceilings, 4 lamps are more than enough light. I will probably never use them on full brightness. I am using Amazon's cheapest rotary dimmer for a 1970's decor style, linked below. This dimmer works well, no flicker, infinite smooth adjustment. Only complaint is that the lamps dim down maybe 90% of the way, but at 10% they are still a bit too bright for a man cave effect. A more expensive dimmer might dim lower. The junction box works well but has extremely limited wire capacity. Box has three knockouts but you can only use the one on the end. If you use one of the side knockouts, the box won't fit through your ceiling cutout. Gives off a beautiful light! Very easy to install! We put in 30 pieces in one room! And the chance very brightly and works very well with the dimmer without any flicker! Great advantage is that you can turn the light to shine on a specific wall! Very well made! With a great heat sink made out of aluminum!

Really like these lights

I LOVE these lights. Have installed them all over my house. Getting really hard to find recessed lights with replaceable bulbs - and in silver. The market is flooded with boring white recessed lights with. built- with opaque white covers over the light that give off a boring light - these come with faceted clear glass bulbs that give off a much prettier light. I And you can change the the type of light it gives off - with 5 settings (you do that on the electrical box you stick in the roof above the light - before you snap them into the ceiling). You can also change direction of lights - they are eyeballs - but again only before you snap them into the ceiling. They are easy to snap in and out too. They dim great. I set the ones in the bedroom on a Nava dimmer that works with Alexa so I can turn them on and off, dim them to whatever % I want - without even getting up out of bed.. Can dim them down to 10% or less. CON: The one con I found is that they are too bright! I prefer a softer light but may be fine for others. I have all mine on dimmers so I can bring down the brightness. Also I do t think you can change out bulbs. At this great price, I suggest buying an extra box so if any fail you can replace them. They have a 5-yr warranty ! And I’ve read that customer service is great.
