PanaVise 13250 BarGrip XL Action Camera Bar Mount, Black

I am in charge of a factory race team that races karts, rallycross cars, and autocross vehicles. We have access to a variety of gear from solid-mounted tabs on rollcages, to adjustable mounts from previous sponsors, and after all the trial-and-error, this thing (The Panavise 13250) is the most direct mounting with positive tightening. Sure the tightening device requires the use of a 10mm wrench/socket/what-have-you, but that you need a real tool indicates that the clamping force is solid, positive, and your camera gear isn't going anywhere. This fact alone earns the 13250 five-stars. The damping sleeve, the swivel-ball are all nice touches that we don't require, but it's nice to know they are there. Not all users are mounting Go-Pro or action-style cameras, which may require a better base for holding slightly heavier equipment like an SLR or an actual camera. When we use the Panavise in our rallycross car, you'd expect the camera to be dangling by the time you are done with your runs, but it isn't. If a camera mount can hold an SLR during rallycross, then I'm sold because some of the other mounts we've used could not.

Prices on these seem to have gone from $15 to $25 but with that being the case I still just purchased more of them. They are VERY sturdy while still being easy to adjust with very little vibration. We use them in endurance sports car racing applications and they offer a fully professional grade function for a very reasonable price.

This bar grip device works very well with my UTV securing my GoPro camera to my roll cage. Easy to install , very sturdy, and easy to use. After recent desert outing with my UTV the camera was secure entirely during the desert outing.

Over all, good product. I would recommend and I would buy again. There were two parts of the design which could be a little better, though they did not take away from the use of the product. There are three 1/2 holes that allow the size of the grip to be changed (nice feature). These are a little shallow so it can be a little tricky to get the bolt to stay in the right sizing hole while attaching the product. The screw used to tighten the clamp uses a hex to tighten it. Personally, I 3D printed a small adaptor and glued/taped it on so that I could just tighten it by hand. In general, this is well built and very versatile.

I bought this to use with my GoPro 7 Hero Black on a Polaris RZR to drive on the sand dunes. I worked great and I got great stable video while using this clamp. Be sure not to over tighten clamp. I used a stubby 10mm ratcheting wrench to tighten the clamp nut and to keep with the clamp for the next time. The ball mount gave me great flexibility to get the proper angle for the camera.

Used this mount in a race car by mounting it to the roll cage and it was able to take all the abuse that was thrown at it. Recommend.

I've had this for just shy of a year and I'm very impressed. I use it on my boat to get footage for my YouTube channel, chasingdreams826. I fish primarily in the ocean and there are no signs of rust or corrosion at all and holds strong on the roughest sea.

The main thing I like about this clamp is that it works with other components of mounts from PanaVise. That, and it actually holds, even while mounted under a 53-foot trailer.

Works great. Used on a hang glider which has two diameter poles and fit both.

El paquete llego perfecto y a tiempo. Se reviso y venia en perfectas condiciones. Revise el manual y lo leí. Instale la pieza sin ningún problema. Hasta aquí todo bien. La problemática se presento cuando decidí desmontar la pieza para volverla a instalar, cuando comencé a desatornillar el tonillo hasta que llego el punto que no pude desatornillar mas, se quedo trabado, puedo girarlo lo suficiente para retirarlo, pero después de esto ya se quedo atorado, intenta lo mas que pude al grado que se doblo un poco en el intento. Desconozco las causas. Tengan cuidado con este tornillo. Por lo anterior le quito 2 estrellas, pero le devuelvo una por que no se si fue también por alguna causa mía el que fallara esta pieza.
