The soup mug is solidly constructed. You will notice the density of the plastic is hefty. The seal of the cover is tight and the locking mechanism is solid. I have used this mug to heat soup, meal leftovers and pastas. It is absolutely leak proof. It is made in New Zealand as indicated by the accompanying product brochure..It cleans up easily in the top rack of the dishwasher. I highly recommend this product, excellent value.

Got these Sistema soup mugs for a trip. They are super light and thin, a feature when traveling. The lids are amazing. So well designed, no spills, the vent is brilliant, and easy to get clean. No problem in the microwave. Easy to carry away when hot. For you Ramenistas, two cups of water and a packet of dry ramen just fit. Full freeze-dried meals may need to be split. Anything in a regular can will work. Nice stable bottom. Vibrant red color, not likely to overlook while packing out. Definitely worth the price.

It is made of BPA-free plastic and is safe for freezer, fridge, microwave (with vent open) and dishwasher top-rack. It's durable and convenient for reheating, especially noodles/soups/leftovers. It's lightweight, too.

Great size cups are wonderful

Really loved this item. I bought several for my husband to use at work. They work well with all kinds of reheatable foods: soup, meats, rice, sauces. The lids are sturdy also and haven’t broken any. One day I heated one of them for 2 minutes because it was full. This may be user error. I did not remember the limit of reheating time. I usually heat the cup at 1 minute 15 seconds for half full. At 2 minutes there was a burning smell. I docked the one star for the smell of burning plastic. We threw out the one that smelled but we have been using them for 6 months. Perhaps they don’t last forever or it was my mistake.

I have used Sistema for years. Great for soup, ice cream or anything you want hot or cold. I have rheumatoid arthritis so the handle helps me keep the cup or bowl from falling. Use over and over. Easy to clean, doesn’t leak. Perfect cup for oatmeal in the morning with strawberries. Won’t break if you drop it. Never loses its shape. The price is worth every penny for the use you will get out of this product. They have come out with new colors and styles. Perfect for the microwave cook in the kitchen. Great travel mug for soup, chilli, tea and coffee!!

They worked great. I am able to use in microwave without causing a mess in my microwave. They are good for soups or leftovers.

Sisterma microwave soup mugs are a favorite in my cupboard. The vented lid is perfect for not having soup or whatever else not explode in the microwave! I often use one just for chili so the cup does have a a little discoloration or abrasion but doesn’t bother me. Love these cups

Son una pasada . Me encantan ,los he comprado 2 veces ya .Calientan los alimentos súper rápido. Son manejables y con el cierre que tienen no se derrama la comida . Los compré porque me llamaban la atención mucho y acerté con la compra. Los recomiendo 100x100.

Package arrived in perfect condition and was well packaged definitely worth the price which was cheap enough like that it’s BPA free would definitely recommend this product its a good size mug
