Shea Moisture Daily Hydration Shampoo Virgin Coconut Oil for All Hair Types Sulfate-Free 13 oz

I truly can't find anything I dislike about this shampoo. I only wish I'd tried it a long time ago. When I was a teenager, I didn't think a lot about what was in, or not in, my shampoo. I know better now! This shampoo smells great. It has this fresh coconut smell that lasts for days. Yes, I was being lazy and didn't wash my hair for four (4) days but, crazy enough, my hair still smelled nice and it wasn't as dirty looking as would have if I'd used another shampoo. Yes, I was impressed. This shampoo does come with a conditioner and even a leave-in conditioner. I thought I'd bought the regular conditioner along with the leave-in but, I accidentally bought two shampoos instead of one shampoo and one conditioner. That was okay because I gave my daughter the second shampoo and still had the leave-in conditioner. What I ended up discovering was that even washing my hair in hard water, my hair was still silky soft and I didn't need the conditioner. My long hair, which tangles easily, was not as difficult to comb through like it was with previous shampoos I'd used. And, no frizz or static electricity that you can often get from not using conditioner. I live in Arizona and the weather can be drying to your hair if you don't condition it. I haven't had that problem and my hair feels great. No doubt it's the 100% virgin coconut oil in it. What's not in it is sulfates or parabens. So I know this is a quality shampoo. This is the only shampoo I'll buy now.

I took a chance and ordered this SheaMoisture daily hydration shampoo when I saw the very affordable price of less than $3 for this bottle, and I'm very glad that I gave the shampoo a chance! It is very moisturizing and hydrating and left my hair smooth, silky and soft, so much so that I did not even need to use conditioner after using the shampoo. The shampoo provides a generous lather and rinses out cleanly and completely without leaving any residue behind. The shampoo would be especially great for those who use a blow dryer to dry their hair, especially in the winter which can be very drying. The shampoo can help keep hair from drying out and add moisture back in.

I have straight thick hair and I love this so much but I combine it with black silk (Indian product) shampoo too

This is a real nice brand of shampoo. The little paper covering the bottle opening was difficult to take off. It took me a lot of minutes in the tub to peel it off. The scent is so luxurious and pretty. The smell was meant for rich African people. I used this brand, and it softens my afro hair well. It details my afro real nice,

Love that this does what it does without all of the dangerous chemicals. Leaves hair silky smooth and healthy feeling. Also has a nice scent. This is my new goto shampoo...

I just received this shampoo along with the conditioner. I read all the wonderful reviews and was excited to try. I'm tired of spending $52 before tax on my shampoo and conditioner, and I thought I found a cheap alternative. I was wrong! I haven't tried it yet, because it has SODIUM CHLORIDE in it!! SALT!! It stated on here that it was salt free, and others shared pictures of the ingredients and theirs didn't have salt in it! Mine does! Sodium Chloride is NOT safe for color treated hair! The bottle claims to be color safe and it is NOT! Sodium Chloride strips your hair color and also damages your hair! I dye my hair black, my natural color, therefore I cannot use this shampoo. The conditioner I can though, but my hair hates it when I mix and match shampoo and conditioner. Super bummed!! Guess I'll just give these to my kids for them to use. Not worth the hassle of returning. I gave 3 stars because I don't know how well it works, so I just knocked off 2 stars for the salt ingredient.

Doesn’t clean my hair at all. Hair feels dirty and greaser. Think the coconut oil in the shampoo sticks to your hair and won’t wash out. Won’t be buying again
