I love these pans. The storage is fantastic. The handles, however, are garbage. They are the worst of both worlds: they have metal parts that heat up to the point that can burn on touch, and they have plastic parts that melt MUCH too easily for an item designed to be used on a stovetop. I replaced the original handles once or twice, and after the buttons kept melting, I just gave up the notion of using these normally. Instead, I attach them only when I need to for a moment to move a pot, then immediately remove them to keep them from breaking/melting. Given the cost of the set, this is a really disappointing feature. If I had it to do over again, I'd definitely go with a set of pans that have removable handles, because as mentioned, I LOVE that feature, but it wouldn't be this set.

Ho provato la linea Ingenio di Tefal/Lagostina dopo aver sperimentato alternative più economiche. E posso dire che non ci sono paragoni: questo manico tiene addirittura di più di quelli fissi che si trovano sulle padelle, per il semplice fatto che i manici fissi dopo un po' si allentano e prendono gioco, mentre questo manico aderisce in maniera estremamente stabile alla pentola. Ho il dubbio che a lungo andare possa lasciare dei segni, perché la parte che va all'interno della pentola è di acciaio nudo, ma questo per ora a noi non è successo. Il manico tende a sporcarsi un po', durante l'uso, ed essendo un marchingegno piuttosto complesso può non essere sempre semplicissimo da pulire. Per il nostro uso, siamo costretti a lavarlo a mano, e alla fine è sempre tornato pulito. Purtroppo non costa poco, e io ho sentito il bisogno di averne più di uno, perché non trovo comodo doverlo sganciare e riagganciare in continuazione. Non è particolarmente versatile: ho fatto delle prove, e non aggancia correttamente a nessun tipo di pentole non Ingenio che io ho a tiro.

I think the removable handle is a fantastic idea, it makes saucepans easy to store, I'm surprised more saucepans don't have removable handles
