Absolute Surrender

Of all the books I’ve read on prayer for the past 50+ years this has got to be #1! Perhaps it’s the accumulation of all my prayer knowledge that culminated in me fully understanding what ABSOLUTE SURRENDER means when praying. I have experienced miraculous solutions to challenges when I have totally surrendered them to our Father in heaven. The book gets deep into what I must do with my fleshly controls and turn it around to my walk in FAITH. God wants something better for me which is always monumentally better than what I thought—I MUST SURRENDER! After the Bible, this would be my go to book for prayer! If you are experiencing some serious challenges in your life, this is a MUST read book!!!

The words and truths are intact, but they have been updated in modern English in a gifted way, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. The Lord, through Andrew Murray"s efforts, speaks personally to us through the author. I have felt His companionship and love exhorting me to turn fully to His surrender, giving much scriptural reassurance along the way. I wish I knew of other Andrew Murray books that are as well done, in His caring spirit, as this book has presented. Buy this one.

I much prefer the writings of years ago...down to earth and clear teaching from the Word of God...no fluff. Absolute Surrender is so encouraging to our living a life surrendered to God, depending on Him continuously, obeying and enjoying His presence.

It talks about humility and being completely surrendering your life to God. It tells details about the surrendering. Once you surrender, He, the creator, is the One who is at work in you. It calms the storm in you, less anxiety, more peace and grace though a little bit repetitive. I recommend this book to anyone who has no way out, God will have a way for you. It is uplifting and encouraging.

Another great book by Andrew Murray. I love this one. I think the most common mistake that Christians make in their life is relying on their plan, thought and strength to live their life. Andrew says that it is a cruel thoughts because it shows that we have not trusted God. We all agree it is not easy. Through this book, Andrew reminds us that God will work it for us. It is God that works in us both to will and to do it.

It got to the point I needed to,I am to understand why I needed to surrender and how to surrender. This book pointed out many of the mistakes Christian make thinking that they have surrendered to God. It's a very pointed book and I enjoyed it immensely.

A timeless spiritual classic by Andrew Murray. Every Christian should read it to understand better the Word of God and what it means to follow God.

Very clearly written and easy to understand. This book has really helped me. Highly recommended. You will not be disappointed if you truly want to be closer to God.
