Lume Whole Body Deodorant - Solid Stick - 2.6 oz (Clean Tangerine)

Best deodorant I have found. I was looking for a natural deodorant. I got on to AI and asked what are some natural ways to combat odor. One that AI highly recomended was to raise the acidity of the armpit to prevent the bacteria from growing. The bacteria is what causes the smell. I bought a stick and used it per the instructions. It worked flawlessly, and it sustained the odor protection well over a day. I am very pleased with the results.

I absolutely love my Lume! I will go ahead and advise anyone using a deodorant prior with aluminum...when you switch to a healthier option like this... your armpits are going to have to detox! 😬 Yep...they are going to peel kind of like dead skin after a sunburn! It's not painful...just your pores pushing the aluminum crap out!! Goes to show how unhealthy it is if are bodies haven to detox from it! 😳🤔 I'm also so glad Lume has tweaked their scents, as I had bought a early batch of the cream stick in coconut and vanilla and they both smelt like earth?? Lol. But this...ahh this is an awesome 🍊 scent! Not overbearing, not artificial either. Just perfect! And trust me I have tried every deodorant on the market prior to this, even clinical/prescription you name it. Nothing would keep me from stinkin! Especially during pregnancy with added hormones. 🤦‍♀️ I wouldn't even be doing anything to cause a sweat but would still smell that body odor. 🙅‍♀️ I've skipped a day before...totally forgetting to apply it....and I was still in the clear! 🤩 .....Sometimes I do wish it was an antiperspirant as well...because it doesn't help with actual sweating...but I don't smell if I do! And it's a healthier choice for my body ..because our pores are meant to sweat! It's how toxins leave are bodies!

The Clean Tangerine scent isn’t bad, but it isn’t all that great either. It has an herby background scent that makes it a little off putting. The following morning after application I could smell underarm sweat with a tinge of citrus. (Not pleasant) I hadn’t been using any deodorants with aluminum or other harsh ingredients so not sure why it didn’t do as it says by preventing odor up to 72 hrs?! If I could smell the odor, I’m sure others could too had I chosen to go out in public.🥴 The 2nd week I noticed I had an irritation that itched really bad (rash). So…while it claims to prevent odors and be gentle enough for sensitive skin, sorry to say the product that I was really hoping would work…didn’t. (At least not on me)

I love the Lume product line. The deodorant works great for me. It’s a little pricey but for me, there’s no skin discoloration, no stains on my shirts. It does what the ads say it does.

Works like a charm. Even my husband, who is petrified of any odor, uses it daily for work. I live in Florida and have not stopped using it since the day I got it. Still sweat, but no odor whatsoever. Now, the scents: Clean Tangerine - I like it, however, husband has to take a break after a few days due to irritation, then he restarts. Coconut Crush - smells like an alleyway dumpster in the middle of summer that hasn't been picked up in weeks, with some shredded coconut tossed on it. Husband refuses to use it, I refuse to throw it out but have to hold my breath when I apply it. Simply awful. Can't really smell it once it's on. Unscented - husband's favorite so far. Warm Vanilla - see Coconut Crush, only not as bad. The scent is really secondary - once you find one that you like/tolerate, I don't know how, but it works and works well.

I was very excited and couldn’t wait to try this but it turned out to be a disappointment. I am always looking for natural alternatives to the stuff we use everyday and need. I thought this would be a good one based on reviews. The smell was awesome. It looks white but remains mostly clear after application. However it barely kept me smelling fresh. I started by just putting it underneath my arms before bed. I tried wearing it to work and I work outside it didn’t last more than like three hours and just for the record I don’t sweat that bad at all. It failed to keep me fresh. However I will keep wearing it to bed. The price I thought was high for the one stick you get. I won’t buy this again but am glad I tired it.

Initially I gave a higher rating and stated: I was hoping for 72 hour under arm odor control, but it lasts about 8 hours. As such, I will be going back to my other deodorant which lasted as long, but costs half as much. Good product, but not as good as the one I used to use. After dealing with this company, it is clear that this is what we call a "bait and switch" tactic. I heard from the company which stated that they recommend I purchase yet another over priced product to spray on clothing to make the deodorant actually work. In pertinent part, the company responded to my request that they honor the Money Back Guarantee as follows: Lume’s BIOfilm Buster will make a dramatic difference in maximizing your odor control. What the company does not know is that I do now wear sleeves which have contact with my arm pits because I live in a very hot climate. Therefore, do not waste your money on this product and please do not get sucked into purchasing yet another product to make the first product work. Based upon this issue, one would have to purchase all new underwear and/or other items to make this product actually stop odor. Buyer beware.

I moved to an extremely hot and humid climate. I can shower, use deodorant/antiperspirant and just walking a dog for 5min outside will make me sweat. My armpits were always stinky and I kept deodorant on my person at all times so I wouldn’t smell so bad. I got the tangerine, it smells nothing like it but it’s not awful, kind of neutral smelling. I put it on after a shower and let it dry before dressing as I’ve read that’s key in it working. Three days seemed a bit much for it to keep “working” and I brought my normal deodorant with me just in case. Imagine my surprise when I walked both dogs for 20min and didn’t smell! This continued all day, through the night and all the next day. I have to be outside in the heat for over an hour a couple times a week and I still didn’t smell. A full 3 days seems to be too long, mine usually lasts about 2 but it’s better than anything else I’ve found. Pricey but worth it as I use so much less and don’t smell. Will go for unscented next and continue purchasing as long as it works. Big fan.

I had tried many different deodorants and was close to giving up until I read about this product. It works incredibly well because it contains mandelic acid, an alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) derived from bitter almonds. Mandelic acid helps lower the skin’s pH, creating an environment where the odour-causing bacteria that live on the skin have a harder time thriving. That turned out to be the game-changer. What surprised me most is that it continues to work even if you swim later in the day, because it has already shifted the skin’s pH and helped control the bacteria that cause odour. If this product doesn’t work for you, you may need something that lowers the skin’s pH a little more...but don’t give up. Finding the right approach can make a big difference.

Lovely scent, but I don't know how effective this scent is with armpit odor. Sweat management is fine. I have used the baby powder scent in the same format and I feel that it works better. Who knows! My next repurchase will be the baby powder scent.

The only natural deodorant that ever worked for me! After a 12-hr workday, no body odour at all!! As long as you start with clean skin, it’s unstoppable!
