You want to rub it in and try to get it down to the skin, under the hair and wipe off the excess **Q: Will this help keep fur out of my puppies eyes?** A: I have a chinese crested that has a bit of a delicate skin. I liked this stuff at first because her tears made her eye area painful. I used squish face and it softened the tear stain area and stopped the pain, but also she lost all the fur in that area. I am using a different product now and her fur has grown back.
