At first, it leaked, but I was able to stop it by tightening the bottom connection from the tube to the bag. Keep tightening that connector until you can't see the black rubber washer at all. It will seem like you're over-tightening, but you're not. This creates the seal, and it won't leak after that. Also, make sure you bite down on the mouthpiece before use. that opens the piece and allows water to flow through.The pack is nicely made, has a nice, wide open mouth for adding ice or ease of cleaning.
