BMW compatible for phone/music/navigation with nice camera not noticed.
Oh this thing is awesome. It is expensive, especially this model with the camera. I bought a new BMW that has the car like computer console, and wasn't sure if I had to buy the BMW version that is definitely a model series behind this. But it was fully compatible, include the magic twist control on the bike grips. It ties to my Google phone just fine, and I subscribe to Amazon Prime Music, so I listen to that on the road. That's really nice, the sound could be a little louder for me, but that's probably a safety thing. It's a high end sound quality. One amazing magic, is it does sound cancelling, meaning when I talk to people on the phone, they don't hear the bike at all or the wind, they don't even know I'm riding. Bonus points to their engineering for that voodoo. The camera is my luxury. The photos are pretty high resolution. I don't do video, the internet is full of people complaining of short battery life if you do that. So, I don't. :) I do put the camera in burst mode, so I touch the button, and it takes a series, then I just slowly move my head, because you can't carefully aim of course. This works well, and people can't tell you are taking pictures. I photograph cars, like license plates, all the time. I use it like a manual dash cam. It's simple reach up and touch the button when you are riding. Mainly though, I can use my phone by using the controls on the bike, the same with the music. I have no idea how to use it with the buttons. My son has this same one but without the camera, and he has a Harley, so no fancy computer screen. He figured it out, and said it's not too bad to do. We can talk when we ride. Oh yeah, forgot that. It has really good range, better then BlueTooth ones. The mesh thing that does that is a different frequency or something. And, it has a radio. When I don't like burning Amazon Music on cell phone time, or just out of range, I can cruise playing the radio.

Works awesome!
The Sena 50s is the best motorcycle coms device around! It has great sound quality due to the Harmon Kardon speakers. You can even adjust the bass levels on the app. The voice quality for the coms and phone calls id very good up to about 50-55 mph when used in an enclosed helmet. Definitely worth the price tag! Has great battery life and you only have to charge it every few rides, depending on how long the rides are. It's easy to use with one hand while riding. I love the single dial for the volume and single button connect and disconnect.

Thrilled with the functionality of sena 50s
Coming from a Cardo freecom 4 plus, I was expecting this to be a little better all the way around considering it’s the flagship Sena priced about 200 dollars more for the Duo.. my expectations were blown away.. the Sena 50s HK version is light years ahead of the freecom in every aspect. The ability to take phone calls at pretty much any speed is a game changer. The freecom became hard to hear at about 55 mph and over 60 wasn’t an option as there was too much wind noise for people to hear me, as well as not enough enough volume without distortion for me to hear them. For reference I am on a BMW sport bike with almost no wind protection above my chest unless I’m tucked down wearing a high end modular helmet with the boom Mic. With the sena I can talk to friends and customers and they literally haven’t a clue that I’m on a motorcycle going 80mph. All I have to do is turn the volume up from ~40% to 60% and I can talk to about 100 mph. For bike to bike communication the mesh connection is light years ahead of Bluetooth, easily connecting to passengers, as well as other riders just by flipping the antennae and pressing the button, no app needed for meshing. The only slight disappointment I’ve had with it is that the battery does die fairly quickly when listening to music (which also sounds quite good) and it isn’t very progressive. Once it gets to 50% it fades about twice as fast till it dies. I assume that’s how most of these intercoms are so it is a minor complaint. Very happy with the product and can’t imagine the new Cardo can be any better, and the Cardo app is much worse then Sena In my experience

Great motorcycle headset -- just make sure to position it properly!
I'm using this in a Schuberth S2 Sport helmet. I used the included stick-on mount to mount to the side of the helmet as the helmet has a wide lip at the bottom which precludes using the clamp-mounted installation approach. At first I installed the speakers in the existing indents in my helmet. I was quite disappointed with the low volume and poor sound quality -- that is when I realize that my hears do not line up with the existing speaker indents. To find the right spot, I put the helmet on and gently slid a cable tie up into the helmet until I could feel it on my ear. I carefully pulled the helmet off and used the cable tie tip as an indication of where to position the speakers. This made a HUGE difference. Instead of quiet muffled audio, I was now getting high quality, loud audio. The headset integrates well with my BMW 750gs and I can control things with the dial wheel on the bike. The Sena Android app is not very good; I was unable to configure the helmet using the Android app as it could never find the headset. In the end I used the USB cable with my computer to configure the helmet. Some of the controls are a bit un-intuitive. Activating the FM radio, for example, requires a long press on the jog dial. I tried recalling stations I had programmed using the windows app, but ended up just re-programming static into those slots.

Great product!!
The listening ability on these is awesome. Bluetooth connectivity is good. Clarity is excellent control buttons are a little hard to figure out. They fit great value for money could be better pretty expensive. It’d be nice if everybody had them for safety.

Clunky and comms are terrible
If you are looking for listening to music these have a good quality sound. If you are looking for a good communications unit these are horrible. Let’s start with me purchasing a dual set. 1 of the units out of the box functioned erraticly( made load screeching sounds, drop comms in mesh or Bluetooth just to name a few). There tech support was helpful but could not resolve the issue. So now I have to ship the defective unit back at my own expense to hopefully get a replacement (just got to that part of the process) Back to the unit that is operational it gives lots of static and feedback while moving if you are at a stand still each person is clear and audible, phone use is almost impossible while moving. Hopefully they come up with a firmware update to resolve these issues but so far they are only good for listening to Pandora. Side note reason I went with these is because I have a pair of Sedici helmets that came with built in Sena units that have been working flawlessly for 3 years now. Only thing with those was not enough sound level at 70+mph.
