What is the difference between the 5% and 100% (besides 95)? Does the 5% have a less concentrated solution? 5% isn't compared to100%

As I undertstand it, the 5% has 95% volitile compounds which quickly evaporate. The 100% is all DeOxit. There are different applications where one might be preferred over the other, but you'd be better served by contacting Caig and asking them. The 5% is the most commonly used. I buy it at Guitar Center locally and it works like a gem for my needs, which include circuit boards and general metal surfaces. I have revived many appliances with a spray on the metal contacts.

Can I use this on a switch that is causing an arching problem?

Yes but you're better off getting the highest grit sandpaper and lightly sanding it and then using the product
