I purchased this small hand saw on a whim. Boy was I ever surprised by its power and ability to do the job that I need it to !!! Excellent product ! I had been using an old-fashioned hacksaw for tackling branches in our flower beds. The end of the hacksaw was too large / too long and it was always getting stuck into the bushes and giving me a hard time. So I took a chance on this and it tackles the stems and branches of the bushes that I need to cut. I totally recommend ! It fits comfortably in your hand, it's lightweight, and it locks together when it's not in use therefore keeping it safe from hands getting it that shouldn't. The blade is double edged - therefore *extra sharp* ! It's also easy to clean because you're just wipe off the edges before you lock it up. Like I said I highly recommend this product & and I'm so glad that I bought it. It's small but very mighty !!! Buy it , you will be glad you did !

The folding saw is easy to use and works well. The size and grip are perfect for indoor or outdoor projects. I'm glad I bought it. Good value and good product.

I purchased this 10" folding saw from Flora Gaurd because my original inexpensive Silky clone worked so well. I couldn't imagine how well this 10" Flora Guard could function having twice the blade length. 1. The saw feels extremely comfortable in my medium size hands, the handle appears to have a nonslip coating that prevents your hand from slipping, 2. the blade steel isn't thin compared to the other saws i own and the teath are as sharp as razors, do not get your hand near this blade 3. The locking mechanism works phenomenally if the blade is in the closed position it stays that way, once you deploy the blade by pressing on the release tab it locks in place until your done with your task. 4. Build quality is robust, it definitely feels like a much more premium folding saw, at a fraction of the cost of more expensive saws. 5. Wieght to size ratio isn't bad at all, the saw comes in at 13.8 ounces. I feel its light in my hand. 6. I like the overall design its esthetically pleasing and i also favor the security of the hand gaurd, I busted a few knuckles a couple of times, i know, as a handyman its part of the job, but now im older and a type 2 diabetic so small cuts aren't favorable anymore, not that they ever were lol. 7. Can it cut? Yes, it will rip through a 4" branch with no problem. Would i recommend this folding saw? Yes! Not only would recommend it, i would also purchase it again. It has earned its place in the center counsel of my truck. This is a honest handymans review. I haven't been endorsed or paid for my review. Incredibly sharp folding saw. Live in Florida and this saw cuts through palmetto palm fronds with complete ease. The blade is built from quality steel. It is sharp, very sharp. The plastic handle feels substantial with a solid feeling grip. The blade is connected extremely well to the handle. It feels solidly connected. Designed and engineered well. Feels solid. Cuts amazing. Highly recommend!

Seems like it will work fine for a camp saw. Locks open and closed. The photos aren't clear- the handle is some kind of plastic composite stuff that is slightly sticky. That should feel great to hold after a bunch of dirt and crap is permanently stuck to it. I would not have ordered if I'd known it was plastic.

Handy tool for camping, if you don't have room for a bow saw,they cut better, but a lot more to take camping if you have to carry everything or limited room. Overall it's the best design,in this folding style, of the half a dozen different ones I have had,in Hawaii and Alaska.
