I was initially concerned about quality, as these lights are imported. I fret no more! The lights have the manufacturing tolerances that remind me of Swiss watches. The packaging was high quality cardboard with very ample padding, and all components that were described were thoughtfully wrapped in sealed plastic pouches. After wiring up the four, 2-ft. lights I bought for our 8X12X13 atrium, in the middle of our house, I flipped the switch, and was very glad I purchased the recommended sun glasses! HOLY COW, THESE THINGS ARE BRIGHT! All of the lights fired up, and after one week of experience I am amazed at the plants' reactions. I will need to move out one plant that is obviously not enjoying the additional light (a Yucca, I believe, which, unfortunately was not doing well prior to moving in under the lights...so I can't chalk this up to the lights) but everything else: wandering Jews, Pothos, ficus, spider plants...etc. all are growing very well; more leaves and new stem growth than I expected. I set my timer for 14 hours between 5:30 am and 7:30 pm. So far, so good! As I hoped, this light goes well beyond the two, southern-facing skylights that we have depended on for years to provide light to the atrium...it wasn't enough, and the prior failures are manifold! This new lighting has us on another plane entirely.

Purchased this to continue growing my plants. It works as described. Easy to assemble. The size was good for my use. It is sturdy but the bad of the stand could have been bigger.

I like the size of the light but its not strong enough for seedlings.

The light is good. The bracing for the light isn’t great. The ends droop, so not for use in a room where company will see it. If things that are slightly off make your eye twitch then put in a seldom used room. Make a note of the height because you can only put short plants under this. All of that being said I am happy with my purchase and so are the small plants under it.

It seems to be working ok, but doesn’t extend to 20” vertically as advertised. Maybe 15” tops. It makes a difference, though! Overall it feels flimsy, bows down, but the lighting mechanism works.

In late August, I had two small, 1.5" pepper starts. For weeks, they didn't get any taller. Then I purchased this grow light and today, they are about 21 inches tall and loaded with peppers. Love the lights but the stand lacks height and I had to raise it up to accommodate the pot and the 21" of plant. Overall, it's a great value for the money and I liked it so much, I purchased a second one.

We use about a hundred grow lights in our Mars Base 1 indoor greenhouse at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. Over the past three years we have tested several different brands and styles and this is our favorite so far. We have now been using the lights for a year and they are still operating as well as the day we got them. The set up and hanging hardware is simple and can be adjusted with little effort if you need the lights to hang a bit higher. They are quiet! And because there are no vent holes on the top, they do not accumulate dust and if one of the racks above leaks, the water does not get inside the light, so they are perfect for vertical farms. We use 1020 trays and the oblong shape of the 60W model gives excellent distribution to all plants. We did not have this benefit with other, squarer lights. They also do not generate much heat so we can fit a lot of them into a small space without overheating the plants. We've seen excellent growth on all of our green leafies.
