This robot vacuum is about as good as I hoped one could be. I don't think it can completely replace the need to use a "real" vacuum, but it does help with quick runs here and there, more of a daily pickup that I back up with a weekly deeper run at my higher traffic areas. First, I have a large main floor with hardwood and some deep-pile area rugs as well. Also a guest bed and office, each with carpet, and the guest bath and powder room with tile. This vacuum cleans all those surfaces well, and switches between them well. It will also return to its dock and empty itself and head back out to finish, with no input from me, which is nice. I included a picture of the "lines" it leaves behind on one of my rugs, something that makes me happy and helps me feel like it is really cleaning. The only "negatives" are that I cannot do my entire main floor in one run, the battery won't last. This works okay for me, as the app allows you to select a room or rooms for it to do. It does take a bit for the AI to get a good feel for your map, and the instructions are not very clear. I had to delete the first few maps, but eventually we got there. Once it's mapped, though, I find it easier to pick up one room at a time and have it run, then put that room back together and pick up another room while it charges... I like to move chairs and pet toys and other things to let it run it's route smoothly. I find when I leave something unexpected out, it does a good job going around it. But then that spot gets missed- and under chairs is a spot that always needs attention on my house. It also is decent on pet hair, and I have three cats so we keep it busy. But it doesn't do well on my one rug that has a patterned pile. Basically, it's bumpy. The robot doesn't pick up as well on that rug, with the raised pattern making different depths. To be honest, I cannot even get my uprights to do this rug well, and use a hand attachment. So it's not a surprise but a bit of a disappointment, as that's my busiest and rug that needs the most attention. It does a passable job, but simply not as good as it does in other places. My last complaint is is will sometimes struggle to find its home. I think it has sometime to do with where I put the dock-maybe too close to sliding glass doors that also seem to confuse it for some reason. This can create a frustrating loop of picking it up and putting it on the dock, it venturing out and going away from it, repeat a few times until it figures it out. I'm moving this to a different floor with a more basic floor plan, and will find a better dock home. I expect some of these issues here and there, it is not a thinking being after all. So I feel it has a tolerable amount of glitching. I guess my only other wish would be for it not to let my cat stare it down and turn it away. The cat likes to protect his spilled kibble and will stand over it when the robot comes to get it. The cat wins the stand-off every time, and I end up having to sweep that little spot. But I understand why a robot would not want to deal with the wrath of my 15 lb knucklehead. He can be a jerk. I do recommend this robot vacuum, especially if you have multiple floor textures to deal with. And pets. Just don't expect it to replace human cleaning completely.

Horrible seller. Sent me a used product. Dirt, hair, and even rocks in it. Package was open. Product didn't work.

I did a ton of research before buying a robo vac. This is perfect and I can’t understand how or why any additional technology would be needed or why I’d want to pay more for it. This vacuum gets the house so clean and the self empty is absolutely necessary so you don’t have to worry about it not getting a full cleaning in because it gets too full. It just goes to the base, empties itself and then goes back to its last location. My biggest concerns in buying one of these were a vacuum that constantly got stuck on things and a vacuum that missed cleaning areas if furniture was in a slightly different location. This vac is fantastic, cleans every inch of my home, transitions from hardwood to carpet with no problems and I’m amazed at the areas it fits itself into so it can clean. It gets under my dish washer and fridge, transitions on and off my marble near the fireplace and handles our welcome mats without issue. It also seems to have a certain level of intelligence where it has gotten more confident in certain areas of my home. Set up and mapping was so simple. Another cool feature is that you can update your map at any time to add different rooms or change dimensions. For example I have an open kitchen/family room. At first I labeled that area as 1 room. I then edited and created 2 rooms so that I can select just one of those areas if I want to get an individual area cleaned at any given time. Let me address some of the negatives I read in reviews. Noise- not too noisy, when emptying it’s a little loud for about 6 seconds, no big deal. Battery life- no problem for me. I can spot clean any time I want. I have it scheduled to do a full clean at 12:00am every night. As a result it doesn’t matter if it stops to charge in between cleanings. App limitations- not a problem for me, I prefer the simplicity. You can on demand have it clean one room or multiple rooms with the touch of a button. You can have it spot clean an area by touching the area on the map. Scheduled cleaning- only lets you schedule all rooms, you can’t schedule just 1 room. Not a problem. I select rooms as needed throughout the day, for example if kids were messy at lunch I select kitchen. But I like that it cleans my entire first floor every night. Also while it’s cleaning you can alternate the power which is nice. Bin storage- some people say it won’t last 45 days, I’m not gross enough to let it sit for 45 days. But there is more than enough space to not worry about it overfilling if I’m on vacation for a while. Otherwise we tend to empty it every couple days because we love seeing how much dirt it collected lol. In review, this is the best product at the best value. Anything more expensive isn’t needed because this gets the job done (amazing cleaning without getting stuck on things). Anything cheaper I wouldn’t have confidence in cleaning power/navigating. I rarely leave Amazon reviews but based on all the research I did I felt I should pass this info along to all of you.
