After getting my line magnifier, I came to the conclusion that many people want something that will hold more paper than what this particular item is designed for. If the magnet is too strong, then it cannot be easily moved to the next line on the page and that actually defeats the purpose. Rarely do I have that much stacked, but I have had up to three pages stacked as I need to look at some sheets constantly as I work. A suggestion that I have found to be important for maintaining this magnifier is to put it in a cloth bag or wrap it up so that it does not get scratched.
