Utopia Bedding Queen Bed Skirt - Soft Quadruple Pleated Ruffle - Easy Fit with 16 Inch Tailored Drop - Hotel Quality, Shrinkage and Fade Resistant (Queen, White)

My son needed a bed skirt and he refused anything white and frilly. We ordered the black, which fit his bed to a T. It's tailored and doesn't fight anything in the room. We ordered him a black headboard on Amazon, with black sheets (white duvet), and it's a nice clean look.

Oh so love this white bed skirt and am enjoying replacing an old one that had a more ruffled look. Very dated and now we have a fresh new look for our daughter's bedroom. Brushed microfiber is the way to go as it washes easily and just has a beautiful refined look. Nothing like that when it comes to bed skirts if you buy cotton.. I have found while they are very nice (cotton that is) they really tear up with washing which I have not found with this product. Have microfiber sheets as well from this company and they are beyond comparison. Let me just say that we have tried more expensive bed skirts and bed linen but have found microfiber is the way to go. So breathable and has a soft look that refines any bedroom needing a redo or pick me up. Breathes a fresh bit of air into the room with a crisp clean look. Now we chose a white pleated bed skirt for our bedroom as that was just our preference. Nowadays you can use any color to compliment a room or bring a room's look to fruition. The room has a white comfortor and blue gray sheets. Cannot even describe how much the room softened up and just made the room look larger and softer. There are other colors and we actually have a black pleated dust ruffle in our older son's room but it matched with the black pictures and other things in the room. Gave the whole room a big change so if you want to have some fun with a room I would advise doing something as subtle as this and have fun with it. You will not go wrong with this product as the company is excellent and has amazing customer service. They not only stand behind their product they have excellent products overall. With microfiber I have found that you should wash any item in cold water and not dry it completely. That seems to be just my preference and then once it air dries I throw it back into the dryer for a few minutes to get the wrinkles out. Everything wrinkles but microfiber does not as much. Shrinkage? No problem as it does not and this product stood up to many washings and drying without problem. No extra threads sticking out and the seams are sown beautifully. Cannot rave about this product enough or the brand. When I was given the opportunity to buy this product at a slightly reduced price I jumped. Honest review? Definitely and would not hesitate to let you know if I purchased a product that was ratchet or below quality. If my experience with this product changes you can trust I will change my review. I was not sure what to expect from the reviews but did not have a lot to spend and this bed skirt was what I was looking for. I needed the long drop. Mine measured about 15.5" which ended up being perfect for our bed. The skirt is three sided. Sides, and bottom of bed. Our bed sits with the head of the bed on the wall so that worked out fine for us in a queen size. My package said 4 sided so that was weird but I was expecting it to be three sided. This just slipped right over our box spring. The top is the same fabric as the bottom and sides and not that cheap mesh that tends to rip. The fit of the bedskirt was good too in that the top is not hanging down over the sides as happens with some bed skirts. Mine did not come all wrinkled. It did have the lines where it was folded but it was not terrible. I put mine in the dryer on steam which took care of this for the most part. To be honest this is not hotel quality, but if I had some spray starch and ironed it before putting it on the bed it would look and feel more like a hotel quality bed skirt. To me the fabric is too thin to consider this hotel quality but I only paid like $11.99 so it was better than I expected. The pleats on the corner were good but I wish they had not included the pleat on each side. Since the pleats are not pressed with starch they end up looking like a little ruffle. I am thinking about taking my steamer and pressing these down by hand to keep them looking like a pleat. I might actually also put a small stitch right there to keep it in place. I am happy with my purchase. The quality was acceptable. Even in white it covered my box spring which is a light blue color well enough that I was pleased with my purchase. I love that this actually lays well across my mattress and does not move. It would drive me nuts with past bed skirts. They were always shifting around and never stayed in place. This not only hangs nicely but also looks more polished than other bedskirts.

I bought this bedskirt because I've had good luck with other items from Utopia and this was no exception. I paid only $7.99 for the twin size and it looks great with the same color (burgundy) duvet cover I purchased a few weeks ago. I see some reviews that say the material is sheer and doesn't hang well. Maybe its the dark color, but it looks fine to me and it completely hides the boxspring and space under the bed. It was wrinkled from the packaging so I threw it in the dryer with a damp towel and 3 dryer balls on medium cycle for about 10 minutes and it came out fine. BTW, I ordered it on Saturday night, it was delivered early Sunday evening, and I had it on the bed before 8PM!!!

Like the style. Like the material. Like the quality. Did not like spending an hour ironing it. It was packaged so I assumed iron - like the folded areas. Instead, was like they took it off the production line, crumbled it into the smallest ball possible, then layed it out with all the wrinkles to fold and package.

Pretty nice,fits nicely and doesn’t slide around,easy to clean,provides coverage. 10/10

I purchased a Utopia Bed in the Bag for a really great price. The only thing it didn't have was a dust ruffle/skirt. This bed skirt is exactly the same color as the comforter I purchased. It is also the same soft microfiber. I love that the whole piece is gray instead of what in the middle. If it gets pulled a little off center it won't show. I find that the Utopia brand is certainly not the highest quality out there. But for the price, I don't think it can be beat...for my guess bedroom that sees little use it is perfect!
