Bought this dark green Rit Dye because I had a sudden burst of confidence and decided I was going to dye some towels. The towels said absolutely not. The color itself is gorgeous, rich, and exactly what I wanted… it just refused to stick to my stubborn towels. Totally a fabric issue, not a dye issue. Because everything else I tested it on grabbed the color perfectly. If you’re dyeing cotton, clothes, or anything that actually wants to cooperate, this stuff is great. If you’re trying to overhaul old towels like I was? Just buy new ones.

Good dye does not work well on polyester.

Use it to re-dye my work uniforms royal blue. I think it’s a very good product. Gives me a professional look without the cost of buying new uniforms every two years.

This product was a complete and total waste of time and money. I used it on a faded set of Black Levi jeans and to be sure I got the full strength, I used the entire bottle and left it sit for double the time. When finished, I expected to have jet black jeans, but it barely changed them and after 3 washed, they look as light as ever. - If I could buy black pen ink by the quart, I'd opt for that in a heart beat.

Much easier to use than expected! Rich dark colour. I dyed a queen sized cotton blanket in a large, storage bin. Be sure to stir the whole thing well if you will be upset by variegation. Also, be aware that they recommend using Rit fixative the first wash after dying.

I liked the product but it made my slip cover more pink than brown. I used 7 bottles on a sofa cover
