Good quality to begin with but wore out quickly.
I initially purchased this product to place under my inflatable swimming pool. It worked well for that task, but after one summer season, I used it to provide shade for my chicken run, and that's where things got hairy. The size is great for a variety of things, hence why I used it for multiple tasks. It was lightweight making it easy to handle and move from place to place. The grommets were spaced out adequately and were fairly secure. They kept the tarp where I needed it to be, for a time. Where it starts failing is the waterproof-ness. Under light rain or drizzle it held up fine, anything more, and it leaked like a sieve. I think that's due to the spacing in the "weave". I wouldn't say that it's heavy-duty either, more like average-duty. I've definitely had tougher tarps. While under my pool it was sturdy enough, but using it for my chicken run wore it down pretty quickly. It started falling apart and shedding these blue plastic fibers everywhere. Not good for chickens. Over the space of about two weeks, it went from shedding to straight out falling apart, holes everywhere, so to the trash it went. Overall, if you need an average, run-of-the-mill tarp for basic tasks, this will do the job. Don't expect anything flashy or extraordinary – it's just your average tarp.

Reliable
The 8x10 tarps I recently purchased exceeded my expectations in terms of quality and durability. Despite their lightweight design, they proved to be incredibly sturdy and resistant to tears, making them ideal for a variety of outdoor and DIY projects. The tarps were easy to handle and maneuver, thanks to their manageable size. Their reinforced edges and grommets provided added strength and ensured secure attachment points, giving me peace of mind that they would stay in place even during strong winds and heavy rain. Not only did these tarps effectively protect against unpredictable weather conditions, but they also proved to be versatile in their usage. From covering and safeguarding outdoor furniture, equipment, and vehicles to creating temporary shelters and providing ground cover during camping trips, their versatility was truly impressive. Overall, I highly recommend the 8x10 tarps for anyone in need of reliable, durable, and versatile protective covers. Their quality craftsmanship and reasonable price point make them an excellent investment for both personal and professional use.

cheap wall covering
I use this tarp to mount on the outside walls of my 1978 mobile home in the winter it helps to hold in the heat quite a bit. They are sturdy and cheaper than insulation and easier to install using push pins and they cover large areas all at once with no hassle. When your on limited income you do what you have to do it may not be pretty but it works.

My Experience has been great. Read other reviews too, maybe I was lucky, or they were unlucky...
Ok... so, the following is a response I just wrote to a question on this product (or excerpt of), but I’m seeing some one star reviews that are making me think QC might be shoddy, so mixed bag... but, the following is my experience, and I’m basing my review solely on that... “Package says California... could be brand HQ, not manufacturing, not certain. Works great though. I had a 4 night camp trip with my gf... rained every day. It held up though. And to put a particular emphasis on why that’s an important note... the site wasn’t lined with trees that could support it... so, had to reach paracord abou 20’+ per corner to attach to large enough trees, so it was unfortunately slack (paracord, has give... no matter how good it is... it’ll provide some five after hanging a while). Beyond that, we ended up grabbing some tent pole to prop the center, due to the dip in it... it was a tube pole similar to what you’d get with a Coleman cabin tent mid-90s... should be sturdy... it broke... tarp’s still good though. No holes. I use toggles instead of tying off/weaving each grommit, so less stress... but still, held up great.” I will say, if you’re looking for lightweight, this isn’t it. Wrong material. Additionally, for heavy, regular use, go for looped tarp, not grommets. If you have a grommet tarp, toggles, it reduces “pressure points”, and is less likely to tear up the tarp. Also, i did find a spot where it seems to be wearing, but it’s gone through a lot, and I expect it to be wearing. For the price, I’m more than happy. My experience has been solid. Sometimes quality can be inconsistent, or a bad batch makes it through. I’d by it again though for car camping (not though-hiking... too heavy).

Highly durable and effective tarp.
I ordered several of these tarps for a yard sale I was having. I needed something for the grass to protect my merchandise from the moisture of the grass. They worked perfectly. They have also come in very handy with our home renovation to protect my plants, for debris collection and to protect the family from dust. The are very durable and thick which makes for a long lasting product that we will continue to use.

Worth the price....
These are indeed worth the price, but keep in mind I consider them disposable. I used one to cover some gear I dropped up north about a month before the gear was to be used. It did indeed keep everything dry, despite my wrap job causing a very large pool of water in the middle. They call these "heavy duty" but I don't think I would agree with that - they are pretty thin. While I did not measure, I highly doubt these are 5mil as advertised. Perhaps it is 5mil before they press and bond it. I would expect these to degrade from UV within a year, and shred on the freeway in less than 100 miles based on how thin they are.... BUT - worth the price. Cheap, considering the size I got (16x20). It kept my gear dry, and did it's job. I will keep it stored for future use, and will buy again when it fails. But again, I consider them disposable - I would definitely plan on spending more money if I needed a tarp for a longer term solution....

A lona é boa, por mais que a fibra seja trançada ela é sim impermeável. O tamanho do anúncio é que confude um pouco, o tamanho real é de 2,44m X 3m.
