This tarp is blue, very thin and will fade quickly. The garments on it tore the first week. **Q: how much does the 6x8 tarp weigh?** A: maybe about one pound at the most. Also this is a misprint my tarp is 10x8ft. not 6x8ft. **Q: What dimensions is it in when shipped? I want to store it in a car as a BoB.** A: It comes shipped at approximately 12"x18", but it could be folded much smaller **Q: would this be able to cover a bike from the rain?** A: I used mine to cover several household items from rain and weather in general and it worked well. The corner grommets were good. You would only need to secure it some way around the bike, so wind would not blow it off. I still have and use mine, just not daily. I also use it for a ground cover when working under my truck.
